Which movie did you watch today and how would you rate it?

The Suicide Squad

IMO, this is the best superhero flick made in the last 6-7 years. It's funny, unpredictable, and has a lot of heart. There's a lot of splatter gore, but it's all in good fun. It also doesn't take itself seriously, which really adds to its watchability. I'd seen it before, but it had been a long time. It still holds up really well.

Itch

I do this for you people. I take the risk of watching shitty movies so that you don't have to and I never get a word of thanks.

This is a low budget, poorly acted, poorly written, poorly filmed abomination that looks like someone's dad gave them some money for a community college introductory film school project.

Had this exact same movie been made in 1991, it would've been on MST3K's shortlist.

You're welcome.

Attack of the Giant Leeches, 1959. Did the fast forward up to each leech scene, the effects were all I wanted to see. They did fake dynamite a leech pond and there was a wet t-shirt scene that got by the sensors.

Rate: The effects were what I expected, good for a laugh, thing from my youth.

I saw that a few years back. Sorta fun and campy. I just now read about the hot actress (Yvette Vickers) in the movie. She was Playboy Playmate of the Month in July 1959. Fast forward to 2011 when she was found dead in her house by her neighbor. Forensic scientists estimated she may have been dead as long as a year before she was discovered. Must be a little weird to be on top of the world one minute only to end up a forgotten nobody later on.

Obsession
I made it to bodily fluids on the living room rug.
This is not entertainment.
Definitely NSFCL
I've still got a few hours left on my rental. Maybe I'll try and finish it.
My wife put this one on her want to watch list. Am I in trouble?
As I reflect upon my eight years of marriage in the nineties, I would say, do your duty without complaint.
