The Senate this week narrowly confirmed Leonard Steven Grasz, nominee to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, by a vote of 50-48. The confirmation of Grasz marks the first time since Lyndon Baines Johnson was president that the Senate confirmed a nominee rated by the ABA as not qualified to an appellate bench.

The next nominee who faces a withdrawal or a very narrow confirmation is Matthew Petersen.

I guess that teh pugs are afraid Wisconsin would vote a democrat into the House if Ryan had to become President. They know that if Trump goes down, so will Pence. And a special election to fill Ryan's seat in the House would be so tainted by the whole thing... so they have elected to tie themselves to Trump, and damn the torpedoes.

With the new Michael Wolff book, "Fire and Fury" we will probably see an exodus in the next few weeks. Wheeeeeee! Listening to MSNBC this evening has been brutal. His own staff calls him "An idiot". "A dope" "Dumb as shit." And more. The only good part of this is Trump does not like to read and so won't be reading this book. This is going to be a fun adventure in politics over the next few weeks.
