The rumors are flying again that Tillerson is on the way out because he's not ass kissing enough. This was leaked a few weeks ago. Trump denied it, but the leakers are singing again, so who knows if he's next on the list or not.

Yeah and today Tillerson changed his tune on NK to be more Trumpish. It seems they float these rumors to pressure him to fall in line.

Little Rocket Man must be laughing his little rocket ass off.

Each time someone is out of the administration, we need a new poll thread...

Or, we just lose the poll altogether and keep a running obituary list.

What an awesome idea. You should start a thread and other members can write the obituaries, including backfilling since the start. I honestly cannot remember all the names of people gone though...

A related list to keep track of is the various nominees that had to withdraw or were rescinded before taking office, usually for being exposed for a combination of being too incompetent, corrupt or vile for even this motley crew.

Not included above are judicial nominations which have also had withdrawals.

Talley, 36, received a unanimous "not qualified" rating from the American Bar Association, due in large part to his lack of courtroom experience. It later emerged that his wife, Ann Donaldson, is chief of staff to White House counsel Don McGahn. The relationship was not disclosed on a questionnaire Talley completed, though some Republicans said the connection was no secret.

Mateer ran into trouble over comments describing transgender youth as part of "Satan's plan" and labeling as "disgusting" the 2015 Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage. He also suggested the decision could spur polygamy or bestiality.

Unfortunately, Trump is breaking records in getting judges confirmed and in their poor ABA ratings.

Trump's choices have drawn more "not qualified" ratings from the ABA than appointees of past presidents. Four judicial nominees so far, a full 8 percent of his candidates, have been rated not-qualified, compared with either 1% or 0%, back to the early 1960s. Petersen was rated "qualified."

The Senate this week narrowly confirmed Leonard Steven Grasz, nominee to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, by a vote of 50-48. The confirmation of Grasz marks the first time since Lyndon Baines Johnson was president that the Senate confirmed a nominee rated by the ABA as not qualified to an appellate bench.

The next nominee who faces a withdrawal or a very narrow confirmation is Matthew Petersen.

You can’t just continue to disassociate yourself from your own party, calling them “they” whenever they do not act in your interest. If Republicans threaten to indict you, if there are whispers that your own cabinet might remove you, you must understand, they are you. This is your cabinet, your administration acting against you. The real “they” are sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn waiting to say: Yeah, me too.

I guess that teh pugs are afraid Wisconsin would vote a democrat into the House if Ryan had to become President. They know that if Trump goes down, so will Pence. And a special election to fill Ryan's seat in the House would be so tainted by the whole thing... so they have elected to tie themselves to Trump, and damn the torpedoes.

With the new Michael Wolff book, "Fire and Fury" we will probably see an exodus in the next few weeks. Wheeeeeee! Listening to MSNBC this evening has been brutal. His own staff calls him "An idiot". "A dope" "Dumb as shit." And more. The only good part of this is Trump does not like to read and so won't be reading this book. This is going to be a fun adventure in politics over the next few weeks.
