Yet another war, this time with Iran

Syria is nearly ungoverned. Militants in Afghanistan and warring with Pakistan. Now Trump is trying to end the Government in Iran. Well, we saw how easy things in Iraq got after Hussein was found and removed from power.

And we are left hoping that the latest version of the right-wing isn't wrong again regarding military force.

Creating anarchies seens to be very popular amongst people who are convinced that "government is bad".

That these anarchies, once created, invariably become violence-infested shitholes, never seems to reduce their appetite for destroying governments in the hope that peaceful and law abiding secular nations will magically arise in their place.

Sure, these governments are theocratic, anti-democratic, and evil, but if you want to eliminate theocratic, anti-democratic, and evil rulers, you could start at home and save the cost of all those KC-135s.

Those are things that are designed to, and are having the effect of destroying America’s democracy and changing its allegiances from the democracies of the world to the most vile and powerful dictatorships of the world. All for the benefit of one sociopath rapist fraud.

That shit has never happened here before.

I agree with the above, but Trump’s motivations are beside the point,

The point is that since 1950 Congress has unconstitutionally abdicated its constitutional responsibility to declare, or not declare, war. You reap what you sow.

Forget unconstitutional, it is simply remarkably stupid. Removing one person from power doesn't change everything like a movie.

Worst yet, what are the objectives? A nuclear free Iran? Killing the leadership so because they wouldn't agree to the agreement you step out of 8 years ago? Trump might actually think the Iranians can just take control. He seems to have no fucking clue that Iranians, like Americans, aren't 100% in lock step with each other.

Why would he have any fucking clue? I mean, it's not like they are real people. They are just extras, like everyone else in Trump: The Movie, starring, written and directed by Donald J Trump. Right?

They are basically interchangeable fictional characters, like oompa-loompas, minons, or new zealanders.

Use of militray force has always been framed in protecting the homeland.
It is likely that my impressions are incomplete and/or incorrect, but the American revolution seemed overtly about money. Probably America’s last “honest” war.

I can think of an exception.
I fully expect TrumpGrok. Honestly, I think we are already over that horizon, given that Stephen Miller is straight up posting for Trump on his socials, and likely using AI to tone-match.

No doubt we will find out soon enough. If he is dead, there are few who will shed any tears.
If he was killed, wouldn’t one expect Khamenri’s successor to be loudly swearing vengeance for Supreme Leader’s murder, against the Great Evil from the West?

Absolute bullshit as usual. And the four presidents you mentioned did not start any wars.
Oh, you see, you already forgot about Yugoslavia and Libya. I guess there is logic in attacking Iran and you will forget about Epstein.
And I guess you totally missed Brzezinski saying that Carter started 1979 Afghan War,
And yeah, your darling JFK is is also on that list. The only one who is not on that list is Ford.

Or remove Khamenei and the clerics will return after 20 years.

Iran confirms the death of their religious leader. He'll be missed by a few, I assume. But not by many others.

Trump is treading on very treacherous waters.
