I think that it was more like 6 months ago that Trump said that their nuclear capability was "Obliterated" and he fired the analysts who said it wasn't.

The press had been reporting for days that the US military believe that the US military destroyed the school and Trump still kept saying that Iran did it.

And yes, the closing of the Strait. No plan at all. It's as if it came as a surprise. And Trump is now saying that other countries should send their military to keep the strait open. He says the US will to but here's Trump, the non-thinker, creating problems for others to clean up.
