I saw that the other day and it was one of the reasons I mentioned that he can't remember what he said the other day. He has done that quite often. It's really sad that so many people have been sucked up into his dangerous cult.
It doesn't matter if anyone prefers someone younger. Biden and Trump are the two candidates we have. If you don't like Biden, at least vote for the lesser of the two evils, if you must perceive it that way. Biden is the one who is the better choice. Can we move on from the ageist crap now? We all know that the candidates are older adults and ageism is alive and well in the US. It's often referred to as the last acceptable form of bigotry. It does seem that way these days.

What is funny is that barbos is usually the first one to spout out against what he considers (and typically rightfully so) woo scientific claims in the Science forum. Yet, he seems entirely insulated from partisan political Russian woo.

It's just cult like behavior, similar to what we see in Trump supporters. At least we have different sources of news here, unlike Russia and people don't get charged with treason for criticizing the president, at least not yet. Who knows what will happen if Trump wins.

I don't know if I'd go that far. A lot of it is driven by nationalistic pride in a nation they remember being a lot better than it ever was, supporting a figure who doesn't give a fuck about them.

I saw an interview with an activist in Florida fighting against book bans. She is 100 years old. And she sounds like she's 100 years old. Yet her mind was still basically sharp.
