Why the Constitution is now null and void

Ok. But somehow the other side is concerned it is unconstitutional and “unlawful” for the President to know what is going on in his government. If the government is not the President’s, whose government is it?
The people. You know...of the people, by the people for the people.
What does the Constitution say? That the POTUS can not audit his own government?
Before I retired, we had audits pretty much annually. The auditors would come in and review and then submit their report to managament for review. But they NEVER undertook a "fix" without running it past management (Congress in this case) first.

It should be noted Musk has uncovered Chelsea Clinton, got 84 million dollars of the taxpayers’ money. Ask yourself also: where did Bill and Hillary Clinton get $200 million dollars?
Chelsea Clinton did not get 84 million. I think your sources a suspect.

Ok, some more fake news and I stand corrected with Chelsea Clinton.
Are you ever going to learn not to trust the sources of all this utter drivel?

The people you believe ARE LYING TO YOU. You repeatedly bring their lies here, apparently expecting that this time, for the first time, those lies will not be shot down in flames.

Then they are shot down in flames.

And you "stand corrected".

And then you forget all about the humiliating ease with which these claims were exposed as bare faced lies, go back to the same lying sources, and swallow a whole new lie, which you bring here, apparently expecting that this time, for the first time, those lies will not be shot down in flames.

When are you going to stop giving these liars the benefit of your attention? When will you wake up, and say "no more"?

How many times will you willingly be made the dupe of a bunch of demonstrable tellers of untruths?

Madness is doing the same thing, over and over, and each time expecting a different result.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I looked at a story on OAN regarding the plane crash in DC and the anchor was interviewing a safety expert and said "There's a lot of things we don't know but BOY to people like to speculate...what kind of things have you heard that were maybe too soon". Encouraging conspiracy theories in a news article. And BOY do people run with those. They dismiss the "lamestream" media as fake news, then turn to sources that are seeking out the fakeness.

In before the 'thanks for pointing that out' response... and then them never learning a thing.

A slim 51.5% of the popular vote is nowhere near a Constitutional Amendment to declare a King.
I have read he only got 49.8% of the popular vote.

e.g., https://www.cookpolitical.com/vote-tracker/2024/electoral-college

My mistake. WOW, he didn't even get a majority. That underscores the point I was making further.
But he got 100% of the criminal vote, the Stoopid vote, the Gullible vote, the lazy vote, and the Ignorant vote, plus a few smart people who were convinced they could cash in on Trump’s boundless greed. More than enough to “rule”, as some of the laziest and stupidest believe a president is supposed to do.

To be fair, a similarly common practice has been to publish articles with misleading headlines, so that shit heels can come to forums like this to post them. Then those same shit heels discuss the topic, but in a thread whose title, in constantly being bumped, puts out a constant front page single sentence title-style statement.

If you ever look in such a thread it's some detail, sometimes about how misleading the title itself is. The goal was never even to discuss the article and never is going to be. The article says something true, often enough... But few people read that, so it's apparently supposed to be as a fig leaf rather than an embarrassing and shameful endeavor?

And it's not like this is not called out, but it happens anyway.

Yet you keep going to that same trough that keeps making you out to be a fool. When are you going to admit that those people, not us, are lying to you? How many times do you have to be shamed by these people when it is shown they are feeding you bullshit?

They are not even trying to be any kind of news network. Once you realize their intentions are pure propaganda, their techniques are fascinating to watch.
You think scumbags like Jimmy Dore, Russel Brand and Paul Craig Roberts are reliable sources of information. I don't think CNN is perfect but anyone with integrity can agree they are better than the shit you consume.

Should have said Palestine. Palestine had Palestine people living there before Israel was even formed as its nation.

From the nit-picking desk:

"Palestinians" is cognate to "Philistines" which is assumed to refer to the "Sea People" of unknown origin who settled in Gaza after their defeat in the Battle of the Delta circa 1175 BC.

The Hebrew people had been living in Canaan long before 1175 BC. The earliest documentary attestation of "Hebrew" is a letter written circa 1800 BC by Terru of Urkesh to the King of Mari: "I am always praying to my lord. I have just now left the comfort of my home and gone out to Sinah to live as a hebrew."

Amusingly when I asked him about his "fake news" he badmouthed CNN and AP. Is that where he "learned" about Chelsea? 8-)

UIAM, RVonse has presented himself as an advocate of "Majority Rule." Perhaps playing the fool is deliberate on his part: He wants to align himself with the American majority.

Yeah, some of the stuff I'll say is complete bullshit. Wait... make that "incorrect".
- Paraphrased Musk

Lying isn't a "mistake". Self-dealing isn't a "mistake". What they are currently doing in compromising the security of some of the most critical systems in our government isn't a "mistake".

Cultures of the area have a much older word "Habiru" which means "wanderer" or "itinerant people" or "wandering mercenary group" or perhaps "slaves and workers from elsewhere".

They were clearly outsiders as of 2000-1800BCE, their whole culture having taken its name from the word for it, or perhaps had given it's name to the region for co-opting to that meaning.

The existence of the word and it's etymology suggests that it is the Hebrews who came in to "settle" the area, or who were "unsettled" prior to ~1800bce regardless of where they came from.

The Bible suggests that they were a nomadic people for a time, found conflicts with the people of the fertile crescent, wanting to settle but nobody wanting them to settle nearby (because they were armed and itinerant), and this creating grudges which blossomed later in a coordinated genocidal campaign some time around 17-1200 BCE... Or several of them.

I wonder, following a campaign of displacement of local peoples, where all these "sea people" came from. Actually I don't. They were those displaced by the previous campaign of genocide when the nomadic people decided to settle down and kick people off their land, forcing THEM into itinerance.

Yes, I transcribed "Habiru" into "Hebrew." That these words are cognates -- different spellings and/or pronunciations of the very same word -- is SO obvious that I am befuddled by those who deny the equivalence of the words.

This is NOT to assert that the Habiru/Hebrew from different centuries were the same ethnic or religious group. Just as the "Travellers/Gypsies" of Ireland (or the "Gypsy" cabdrivers of New York) have no relation to the Romani ethnic group which were the earlier "Gypsies", so the term "Habiru" might have referred to different ethnic groups over the centuries.

I find this earliest mention of Habiru/Hebrew to be informative: "to live as a hebrew." "Hebrew" at that time seems to have been a life-style choice, and NOT an ethnic group.

The earliest mention of "Hebrew" in Genesis is where (the mythical?) Abram (later Abraham) is introduced as a "Hebrew." (This was BEFORE he conversed with Yahweh.) In Jewish myth he was the son of the Terru of Urkesh that I mentioned.

They were clearly outsiders as of 2000-1800BCE, their whole culture having taken its name from the word for it, or perhaps had given it's name to the region for co-opting to that meaning.

I think it's futile to attempt to trace Canaanites earlier than 1800 BC. What does appear clear is that Canaan and the lands (e.g. Ugarit) to its north, as well as Mari all spoke languages in the West Semitic family.

I wonder, following a campaign of displacement of local peoples, where all these "sea people" came from. Actually I don't. They were those displaced by the previous campaign of genocide when the nomadic people decided to settle down and kick people off their land, forcing THEM into itinerance.

The "Sea People" are something of a mystery. One thing that seems to be agreed upon is that, unlike the pastoral progenitors of the Israelites, the Sea People traveled by Sea. Many historians agree that, much like the Völkerwanderung ca 300-700 AD as the Western Empire collapsed, various groups took advantage of the (unexplained?) collapse of Mycenaean, Hittite and Assyrian Empires circa 1200 BC.

Musk already had the highest security clearance you can get because of his rocket business.
The HIGHEST?
His clearance probably gives him access to any info about NASA. Maybe even UFOs. But I doubt his 'clearance' gets him into even the front door at the CIA.
Jesus Christ, you really love Deep State.
'Deep State' is a buzz word. Meaningless in reality.
Are we supposed to vote for candidates who don't do what they say they plan to do?
You are supposed to vote against candidates who plan to do that shit.
They are not even trying to be any kind of news network. Once you realize their intentions are pure propaganda, their techniques are fascinating to watch.
A perfect description of FoxNews. "fascinating to watch", OK, but stop believing.
For some reason I seem to have no problem with Trump going after his own government with DOGE.
It is our government. You fucking commie.
How would you feel if your leader Putin did the same with your government. Or did he?
And so many things have become connected to politics that it is extremely difficult to know actual reality.
1. The opposing party is stupid. Mentally retarded on a level that defies explanation. Willing to accept and even advocate policies that will be the downfall of The West as well as the ruination of the economy, the climate, and civil society.
Thanks to Rupert Murdock.
But somehow the other side is concerned it is unconstitutional and “unlawful” for the President to know what is going on in his government.
That is not what he is doing. The problem is HOW he is going about it. If Rump really has the authority, all he really needs to do is just ask.
He is an outsider, acting like an outsider.
I remember Trump saying that he was not endorsing 2025.
After all the bullshit he says, You just take his word for that. After all the project 2025 authors he appointed to the cabinet, you still don't see it?
NPR still gets some of its funds from corporate sponsors causing them not to be independent.
The Repug-licans kept cutting their budget, so where they gonna go?

But we are an oligarchy that is about to go under with debt
So, yeah, embrace that and sell-out to the oligarchs. /s
Donald Trump was elected to SERVE as chief executive WITHIN the executive branch of government, not to “rule”.

That's really interesting, yeah. I think that it has something to do with initial usages of theism as a proxy for something we associate some new way now, like "race" or "tribe" or "worldview", their "lord" being the whims of their soul or whatever, something they refuse to give a real description of because then it would just sound like a bunch of selfish horse pucky.

I would assume that many of these empires fell as a direct result of the economic consequences of a large-scale genocide waged in the area disrupting trade and agricultural processes in the region. I think at some point cities got big enough to make living like a land pirate quite viable, and the technology and means to prevent this was practically nil at one point around that time.

Perhaps it meant something more like "hippy" at the time, and they went off to live in communes before they decided to seek their promised land, which is to say, all the regions that said "no, fuck off, ya hippies, besides some of you are armed."

RVonse was not making a statement of fact. There are actual governmentally defined levels of security clearance and if he was reporting truth he could have just stated what Elon Musk's clearance level is. It comes across as just a feeling of his... it has "truthiness" to it.
