Why the Constitution is now null and void

I never held him above criticism
One of the things I liked about him was that he never seemed to hold himself above criticism.
In fact on occasion he was downright self-deprecating. (Something you will never ever ever see from The Felon)
So much this!
Obama was elected to deal with the utterly disastrous mess left behind by the Republican administration and Congress.

Our economy was in a death spiral. Our federal debt and deficits were shooting into the stratosphere. Our military was stuck in two stupid, unwinnable, wars.

The conservative Republicans had so badly managed the USA that a black kid from Chicago named Hussein walked away with the White House. Obama didn't do everything perfectly, but he did a damn sight better than the rich white guys who preceded him. Obama did a fantastic job pulling the good ship America off the reefs and back on course.

That's when the Deep State bought the Republican brand for next to nothing. Invented the Teaparty, calling it a grass roots movement.
They lied about nearly everything and obstructed and bought enough ill-informed voters to give the Deep State the power to take over America.
Which they have, and now we're seeing the results.

I was pretty much there for the birth of the Tea Party, as I lived in the San Juans and had a lot of Paulite friends back in those days (yes, there was a time when friendships across party lines were plausible). That it was once a grassroots movement is not a lie. That it tended fiscally conservative was not a lie. But otherwise? It was not the same movement in the early days before the Republicans bought it, astrofturfed it, rebranded it, restaffed it, and exploited it for their own ends.

Oh, that's right.
Back in the 1900s you had Paulite friends...

His name was Ron.
The vicious part of my sarcasm was the reference to the 1900s
Tom

I meant of course, Ron Paul, from the ruins of whose presidential campaign many of the original Tea Partiers were recruited and, before the age of PAC supremacy, funded. I knew a lot of Ron Paul types in those days. Attracted to political and economic conservativism, but not convinced that the Bush-era Republican establishment spoke for them, or even clearly understood that they existed. They were pretty open about their intentions to take over the party and transform it from within. Which they did. But by the the time they succeeded in that goal, their coalition of hyper-conservative debt fetishers and suvivalist libertarians been transformed into or replaced by cynical tech bros and neo-Nazi fascists, in love with the very kind of centralized power they'd supposedly been organizing against.

Do you realize how much fun I'm likely to have with you Paulites from the 1900s, talking about the ruins of your whatever you are referring to...
I'm really a bit difficult.

with suspiciously good Internet access
Why is that suspicious?
And how did you make such conclusion anyway?
Don't name any names Jarhyn, They are listening!
IKR? Like, some people know folks from Russia who have far less free time, and shittier Internet access that they have to fight much harder on to be able to freely say and do the things they do.

Lots of people fall out of windows in Russia.

So no, I won't name any names.
You need to update your script book. Internet in Russia is is way better than your old book says.
And the rest of the shit in your script book is just shit.

Oh, that's really interesting. I'll assume these are shop slang for troll farm stuff.

Weird that you would know any of that, though.

Why would I not know that?
Ukrainian troll elf farms and USAID funding (which was discovered and admitted by troll elf themselves) is a big story now.
And in general, ukrainian trolls was open secret since before the war you started.

Literally nobody outside those who work regularly in call centers and scripted positions are going to be thinking about shit like that, and people outside it certainly aren't going to know shop talk.

I can mostly recognize what you were talking about because it makes sense to think about after the fact (that scammers and trolls have scripts), but knowing what they call it? Knowing the model?

Keep pretending we don't see you, I guess? And maybe avoid invitations to the 14th floor to admire the view.

How do you know that? Are you an ukrainian elf? :D
There have been a number of articles and videos describing that shit. it is also popular topic in online discussion. You yourself is a proof of that.

So you insist that a man with 20 years history on this rather obscure forum is paid to distribute russian propaganda.
This is a rationalization you came up with?
You clearly have not met actual paid trolls, have you?

I expect that there is value in maintaining accounts for 20 years on obscure fora explicitly because that's the only time Russian propaganda has even a chance of being successful.

Then, for all we know, you're really just a "script book" puppeted by many. Thanks for the term btw, I guess?

We know for a fact that Russia does exactly this thing with exactly communities like this specifically because they can be used to test out particular forms of propaganda specifically against "rational" mindsets.

If I was personally going to pay a troll farm to push a view, these would be exactly the kinds of forums I would target first.
