On the surface it would appear the insufferable prick does recognize the problem with blokes competing in women's sports but we all know that Newsom is a moron and hasn't had an original thought in his pea brain.

I hope so. Not likely your boy would allow free and fair elections, but maybe some hoot of an imitation.
Or maybe he will die or be killed before then. That would be a hoot.

I'm quite sure there will be an election and if Trump is still breathing, he won't be on the ballot, but I'm not sure that the election will be fair, as I think the Republicans will do whatever possible to suppress the vote and gerrymander Congressional districts even more than usual. Time will tell.

No way will Newsom be the candidate. There are plenty of better possibilities who would beat him in the Democratic primaries. No, I'm not going to name any because I don't want to argue about who will be the Dem nominee but I can think of a few who might be good candidates.

We SHOULD get names out there early. We spent 2020 thru 2024 putting Trump on trial and even getting convictions, but we didn't have any back room talks with Biden about not running in 2024 and we had no candidate in place when he dropped out of the race. Had there been a primary, I don't think Harris would have been the nominee.

I don't recall all the names, but I read there are about 6 or 7 Democrats who are probably considering running. Of course, they are all white males. I have no idea who would have won a primary but I was happy to support Harris and so were all of my friends. Idiots believed Trump's BS about fixing the economy on day one. Even some Democrats voted for him because they really believed his bullshit. Sure, they regret it now, but it's too late.

Oh..I voted for Harris, but I think that we could have had a better candidate had Biden not tried to run again. Bill Maher was right when he called him "Ruth Bader Biden".

I think at the very least somebody like Gretchen Whitmer will strongly consider running.

I voted for her, but was not really happy about it.
