Well... it's Trump... again. #47, here we go.

I was trying to be humorous. I neglected the 😋

I was referring to an episode of Family Guy.

I don't pay any attention to who can kick whose ass. I don't think it means anything.

Remember when he casually mentioned that maybe this year a kid expecting 30 dolls for Christmas might only get 2? Who do you think he was talking about? Mattel.
And this shows how out of touch Trump is about real people.

Piece-o-Shit, along with Piece-o-shit, considering suspending habeas corpus, the right to challenge detention on court?

Is anyone surprised that Steven Miller, that hateful scumbag, pushing to suspend habeas corpus?

Anyone surprised? Fascism marches along

Make no mistake. This isn't just about illegal immigrants. Without Due Process and habeas corpus, what's to prevent Trump from imprisoning and deporting US citizens?

Judges warn Trump’s mass deportations could lay groundwork to ensnare Americans

Judges across the country continue to note that if courts don’t protect the rights of the least popular and most vulnerable, everyone is at risk.

A fundamental promise by America’s founders — that no one should be punished by the state without a fair hearing — is under threat, a growing chorus of federal judges say.

That concept of “due process under law,” borrowed from the Magna Carta and enshrined in the Bill of Rights, is most clearly imperiled for the immigrants President Donald Trump intends to summarily deport, they say, but U.S. citizens should be wary, too.

Across the country, judges appointed by presidents of both parties — including Trump himself — are escalating warnings about what they see as an erosion of due process caused by the Trump administration’s mass deportation campaign. What started with a focus on people Trump has deemed “terrorists” and “gang members” — despite their fierce denials — could easily expand to other groups, including Americans, these judges warn.

First they came for the criminals, and I did not speak out, because
Why do you want gangbangers and criminals to be allowed to remain in the USA?
Then they came for the immigrants, and I did not speak out, because
People who enter the USA illegally are in fact here illegally, they broke the law. I don’t feel obliged to be polite to people who break the law.
Then they came for the Muslims, and I did not speak out, because
But to the left, Muslims get a pass. And even worse, anybody who disagrees gets labeled "racist" and even "Neo-Nazi".

Trump is going about it in his trademark "elephant in a china shop" way of course, but do you really think illegals or legal aliens who commit serious crimes should get to stay in the US?
It seems to me you are objecting to the principle of deporting criminals here, not just the way Trump is going about doing that.
Then they came for the immigrants, and I did not speak out, because
Again, not agreeing with the way Trump does it, but if a country does not control its borders and who gets to come it, you don't really have a country. Even Europe is starting to understand that. Perhaps too late though.

Islamism is a clear and present danger to the West. Your cartoon about not understanding history is apt. People like you who deny the threat from political Islam definitely do not understand history.

Suspending Habeas Corpus, that is quite unimagineable.
You’re Sooooo last week!
It was unimaginable way back when. That was before we were at war with Oceania and everyone else, and our only friends were Kim and Putin.

We should be like them because their people are so happy and their rich people are so glorious.

Yes. At least long enough to stand trial. That is what I would want for myself. If Rump is not stopped, he will make me a criminal. I will become a Resistance/Freedom Fighter (no joke).
It seems to me you are objecting to the principle of deporting criminals here, not just the way Trump is going about doing that.
YOU ARE NOT PAYING FUCKING ATTENTION.
It is absolutly about his methods. He is delibertly destroying our justice system.
The deportations are not the only illegal shit he is doing. He has ignored court orders. Arrested judges and lawyers.
if a country does not control its borders and who gets to come it, you don't really have a country.
If a country does not control its leaders, you don't really have a country, you don't have a democracy, you don't have freedom. You have a fifedom.

(spellcheck is broken)

Not so. He is taking over the justice system and the country. Day by day.

Who says they are criminals? Only Rump. They are not getting trials, only accquations. The accqusation is enough for Rump. Being Prez does not give Rump the authority to judge and pass sentance. And some are citizens.

To the MAGAturds here, without Due Process and Habeas Corpus, you do you know that you're not imprisoning and deporting an innocent US Citizen? Answer: YOU DON'T!
Ask them if they care.
THEY DON’T.

There are at least two people in this thread I have on ignore. You can probably guess who they are.

Every once in a while I click on "You are ignoring content by this member. Show ignored content" just to see what the fuss is about.
Sheeeesh! Does this migoted boron still expect us to believe he doesn't vote for Trump? I wonder how many MAGA hats he owns.

Suspending Habeas Corpus, that is quite unimagineable. Glad we have our in house fascists to not protest suvh an act.
IIRC Licoln suspend Habeus Corpus at least twice. And he a Republican (I think)!
There was a war and Congress has to support such a declaration. FDR did this as well. Trunp is wielding extraordinary powers with no legal authoriry and our fascist memɓers love the butwhaddabt.

There was an ever so slightly difference between the two with regards to context. And using an example that occurred over two and a half centuries ago is some pretty fucking weak justification.
