LA Riots 2025

What the hell is ....
Never mind what that is. 'Don't feed the troll'.
I've been censured before for calling him a Russian troll.
But introducing off topic conspircy theories into every thread is a sure sign of a troll.
And you just called me a russian troll again.
The truth hurts, don't it?

The truth hurts, don't it?

It could be that it’s misrepresentation that hurts.
I mean, there are certainly levels upon levels of trollery among Russians. It could be offensive to an independently operating troll, to be lumped in with the thousands of trolls acting in directed unison within Russian troll farms. Babs doesn’t indulge in lowbrow crap like pretending to be a local news source. No, he proudly engages the thinking segment of The Enemy, whom he vanquishes with ease due to superior native Russian intelligence and unmatched cleverness.

The 4,000 California National Guard soldiers who President Donald Trump surged into Los Angeles remain unpaid due to delays in issuing official activation orders, leaving compensation and benefits in limbo.

According to more than a dozen Guardsmen across four units who spoke to Military.com, none has received formal activation orders, the critical paperwork that not only authorizes their duty status, but also unlocks pay, Tricare health benefits and eligibility for Department of Veterans Affairs services. Without those orders, troops remain in a legal and administrative limbo.

Multiple defense officials with direct knowledge of the situation told Military.com the chaotic and sudden activation of troops has effectively clogged up the flow of administrative work.

Those Guardsmen will likely receive formal orders and the proper backpay within the next few days, but that hasn't eased the concerns for troops anxious over potential financial strains and juggling family logistics, as the Guard does not assist with child or pet care. Though with the mission only a few days old, troops haven’t missed a paycheck yet.

The president was caught off guard by news that anti-ICE protests exist outside of Los Angeles.

Posing for photos with his wife, Melania Trump, on the Kennedy Center’s red carpet Wednesday evening, Donald Trump refused to believe that dissent against his anti-immigration agenda had spread to more than a dozen cities around the country.

“If this turns into another summer of unrest, what are you prepared to do, sir?” asked a Fox News reporter.

“About what?” Trump said.

“Well, the protests have spread now to 16 cities across the U.S.,” she added.

“That’s what you’re saying, and do I believe you? I don’t think so,” Trump said.

“Well, I got that from the Fox News brain room,” the reporter clarified.

silly old duffer should know better but this is what LAPD has to contend with.

If the LAPD cannot handle an old man who commits the cardinal sin of touching a horse without beating the man, they are pretty useless.

Meanwhile in Universe XC-87, TSwizzle mocks LAPD for knocking down pro-Trump protestor because that protester touched his horse.

The officer should have dismounted and had a word with the protestor. You don't fuck around with the animals. But some officers don't believe they serve and protect, they are just there to enforce.

I read that 13 Million people protested Trump's government on 14 June. Really? Wow!

A responsible adult should have led gramps back to his assisted living facility.

I noticed one of the protesters holding up a sign “Spred (sic) love”.

Hilarious.

 I guess grampa's parents never taught him the very useful life lesson about "play stupid games, win stupid prizes".

Its one thing when its a little kid who who sticks his finger through the fence of a barking dog, gets bit and then runs home crying to mommy about an unjust world. Grown adults should know better.

13 is more than twice the number I've seen around. 5 million may be a high count. 5 million would still be the biggest protest in US history.
