Russia has violated every peace agreement with Ukraine that it has signed. Ukraine would be crazy to sign any treaty with Russia that forced it to de-arm and give up defensive arms and strategic locations. Sorry Amigo, but I don't think that any peace treaty signed by Putin is worth a hill billy's butt. Worthless. The only thing that Russia understands is strength. USSR willingly returned Austria after WW2. Also USSR refused to take Bulgaria when they themselves asked to join USSR
Ukraine itself in its official borders is the result of USSR/Russia leaving it. It was bad idea, now we have to fix it.

Yes, Modi may make mistakes. He is human. But he would correct any mistake that he makes. I have absolute, complete trust in Modi.
I have differences with his policy. A huge amount of money has gone to public as freebies. That is uneconomic, but that is the compulsion of the democracy that we now have in India.
If democracy engenders crash populism, then what does one do? Opposing it will mean a rout in the elections. It is a great balancing act.
We have to live with it.

Opposition promises freebies and Modi's' party too has to make similar promises. I agree, it is stupid, like free electricity up to 300 kw (we are talking of a population of 1.47 billion), or free supply of food items to some 800 million poor people of India for the last five years since Covid-19. Some policies are not uniform all over the country. I hope, some day we will have a law that any such policy has to be operative all over the country meaning approval of the governments of all states or a big majority of them (say two-third)..

We have a nice Constitution and a nice Justice system to take care of it. But making any big change in Constitution requires big majorities.
It cannot be changed at someone's whim.

Why Modi, because no other country in the world has a 'faqir' as the Prime Minister, who does not have a family to pass his wealth to and one who does not own anything except his savings which today come to some USD 342,481 (2024)which too he will give in charity when he relinquishes his position as Prime Minister in 2029. His saving cannot buy the middle-class apartment that we live in.

A very strong administrator, he too has no possessions, no family, other than the people of India. Perhaps one day, InshAllah, he too will be a Prime Minister of India.

Totally agree with you about Trump! Super funny that he tried to claim credit for that. Pakistan terrorists attacked Indian. India defended itself. The attacked ended. This is what Ukraine is trying to do, stop the Russian invasion. If they turned the other cheek, as your previous statement advocated, they would be destroyed.
