Sure, it's so ironic to want to discourage hyperbole and depending on the individual the ignorant or willful misuse of a term that has deep historical connotations. But intellectual and linguistic dishonesty is fine as long as you're the one doing it, right?

I hate what's going on as much as anyone, but what I don't like is bullshit. Far leftists, including politicians, a significant number of young people, and ivory tower liberals encourage bullshit and never leave their own iron bubble, all of which has significantly contributed to Trump being in office again. There's no introspection and no determination to get what should be easy votes back in their pockets.

ETA: what is ironic is that Dems used to be able to call themselves the Bit Tent party, but now it's the GOP who welcomes just about anyone while the Dems have become a party of exclusion.
