I initially thought he dropped a ginormous plate with meat on the floor with the impact causing the BBQ sauce to spray out, but somehow the plate didn't break. The background looked like a wood parquet floor well worn by foot traffiic. On second look, the parquet pattern is obviously a placemat and the plate is normal size. Whew. Looks like I haven't lost my mind...yet.

I want to know what will work to keep eggs from exploding in the microwave. I love my microwaved poached eggs, but the inevitable loud "boom" at the 2 minute mark always makes me jumpy.
