Mitch McConnell Gone?

For what it's worth,
On another forum someone posted a pic of them that is identical as far as their faces and clothes go. But the setting was some vacation resort in 2023.
Tom
It does raise the question of whether this image was AI generated or how much it was edited.

Also when did Elaine Chao come back to the US?
And now we have this.

Well, he's pointing to the date on his newspaper, that's solid proof right?

Is the hat on the shelf the one Elvis was wearing when he came in?

He said he's been discharged from the hospital and is going to be in rehab for awhile. Maybe the old curmudgeon is alive and only partly brain dead. Just be glad he's not running for the Senate again.

Who did he say that to? Did anyone else hear him say it?
Whether he is still consuming oxygen, or has stopped doing so, is not a concern. His current state can be described as “dead, or might as well be dead”.

Maybe it's a miracle from God letting us know that McConnell is in the same place as Presley, Jackson, and Wayne?!

As long as it is not the same place as

So, is Mitch lying or are his doctors and friends lying? If his doctor is lying, he should have his license revoked or put on probation. I'm sharing an article that explains what might be lies and might be truth, although it doesn't make sense that someone with a fall that didn't injure him much had to be kept in the hospital for about 3 weeks. Regardless, it doesn't sound as if he's fit to finish out his term.

The Republican senator denied that he had suffered a heart attack and said he had left the hospital and moved to a physical rehabilitation center. He did not give a timetable for returning to Capitol Hill.

Mr. McConnell said in his statement that he had been reluctant to share his physical challenges, which have plagued him since he contracted polio as a child and have grown more prevalent with age, contributing to a steep decline in recent years.

“You all know how folks of my generation often hesitate to share the vulnerability that comes with growing older,” the former Republican leader said. “Even in the public eye, I feel that same instinct — I can’t help it.”

Last week, prominent Republicans said that they had spoken with Mr. McConnell, in formulaic and seemingly scripted social media posts and statements that described “lengthy” conversations with the Kentucky senator, including about key issues that are top of mind for conservatives. Rather than putting it to rest, the statements only further intensified already wild public speculation about Mr. McConnell’s health.

He is correct about people from his generation generally being very reticent about health issues of any kind, any kind of vulnerability and money.

But yeah, this is pretty concerning re: his ability to continue in his job.

But yeah, this is pretty concerning re: his ability to continue in his job.
More concerning, to me, is the lengths his teaparty compadres will go to to keep up hope that Kentucky voters won't replace him with a senator that is less about Trump and more about Kentuckian people.

Yeah, I was being polite/adhering to the customary definition of doing his job rather than how he’s been doing his job.

You are absolutely correct. OTOH, the good people of Kentucky have been pretty consistent about choosing McConnell over what we would consider their best interests for some time now

Say what you like about poor old Mitch.
He would make a better president that what we have now, regardless of which rumors are true.

That photo I posted of Mitch and his wife is a fake.

Which means the death watch is back on.
Therefore misinformation is JUST AS BAD on the left!!!

Why do you consider you know what the best interests of those in Kentucky actually are?

People seem to be under the impression the US Senate does anything these days.

The Senate is where House bills go to die.

Sometimes that's a good thing.
