Yes, why didn't anyone else think of this?Trump with buddy Putin said:I hold both countries responsible. I think that the United States has been foolish. We’ve all been foolish. We should have frankly had this dialogue a long time ago. I think that we're all to blame. I think that the United States has now stepped forward along with Russia.

Wonderful... only took a day to say Trump is against feeding a US diplomat to the KGB. And, uh... yeah... Putin will pass those 12 up, not doubt there.Sarah Sanders said:It is a proposal that was made in sincerity by President Putin, but President Trump disagrees with it. Hopefully President Putin will have the 12 identified Russians come to the United States to prove their innocence or guilt.

I'm going to requote that with emphasis... desperately needed emphasis.article said:Giuliani later added: “Second, there was another meeting that has been leaked but hasn’t been in public yet,” he continued. “That was a meeting ― an alleged meeting ― three days before, according to Cohen ... he says there was a meeting with Donald Jr., with Jared Kushner, with Paul Manafort, with Gates and possibly two others, in which they ― out of the presence of the president ― discussed the meeting with the Russians. ... That meeting never, ever took place. It didn’t happen. It’s a figment of his imagination.”
...
“Why are you saying that the president wasn’t at the meeting?” Francis asked. “Who asked if he was there? No one asked if he was there.”
“Cohen is alleging the meeting took place,” Giuliani responded. “We’re making it clear the president wasn’t at that meeting. Cohen doesn’t even allege that. To cut it off.”

The article also notes that the elder Pres. Bush looked into the idea and decided it would be illegal w/o a Congressional bill...According to The New York Times, this administration is actually considering using executive authority to deliver what amounts to an across-the-board tax cut for the wealthy. To wit, from an article out Monday evening:
The Trump administration is considering bypassing Congress to grant a $100 billion tax cut mainly to the wealthy, a legally tenuous maneuver that would cut capital gains taxation and fulfill a long-held ambition of many investors and conservatives.
[…]
The Treasury Department could change the definition of “cost” for calculating capital gains, allowing taxpayers to adjust the initial value of an asset, such as a home or a share of stock, for inflation when it sells.
Currently, capital gains taxes are determined by subtracting the original price of an asset from the price at which it was sold and taxing the difference, usually at 20 percent. If a high earner spent $100,000 on stock in 1980, then sold it for $1 million today, she would owe taxes on $900,000. But if her original purchase price was adjusted for inflation, it would be about $300,000, reducing her taxable “gain” to $700,000. That would save the investor $40,000.

“He did not participate in any meeting about the Russia transaction ... the president did not,”
-Rudy G
"Russia transaction"? So it was a transaction? Who gave what to whom, and for what in return? Rudy is the least coherent spokesperson since the venerable Spicey.
To conclude, The President does not know where the bodies are, he didn't facilitate the chemical weapon that killed that woman in England, and Putin does not control the White House. My fellow Alumni *sigh* said:He did not participate in any meeting about the Russia transaction ... the president did not. And the other people at the meeting that [Cohen] claims he had without the president about it say he was never there.
