A day without stupid?

Dang, can't change font type within the 'quote' name/header...

Trump Don the Con must be getting inspired as he is unleashing a bunch of stupid now.

No, this isn't The Onion, or a Higgins satire piece.

Yes, Trump says NATO should investigate (witch hunt?) Germany over its ties to Russia.

This almost rises to the level of convictable self-projection.
FIFY :D

The pipeline project remains controversial in Germany as well as European Union neighbours like Poland and Baltic states Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, who fear it could be used as a tool to boost Russian influence over the bloc.

Moscow notoriously used gas prices to pressurise Ukraine during a mounting conflict with its former satellite which saw Russia annex the Crimean peninsula in 2014 -- prompting EU sanctions in response.

Meanwhile, a rare cross-party alliance of high-ranking German politicians from Merkel's Christian Democratic Union, the environmentalist Greens and pro-business Free Democrats last month warned against allowing Nord Stream 2 to go ahead.

It would "split the EU politically and call into question our solidarity with Poland, our Baltic neighbours, Slovakia and Ukraine, but also Sweden and Denmark," they wrote in a letter to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.

And the European Commission said last year it sees "no need" for Nord Stream 2 as it pursues energy security and diversity of gas supply across the 28-member bloc.

The US is to defend Germany against Russia. Germany makes a deal with Russia for gas which may increase Russian influence in Germany and eastern NATO countries. See Ukraine. Apparently, what The Resistance™ dislikes about Trump is that he calls it as it is and doesn't give a damn about rocking the boat.

Dude, Trump gonna Tweet your ass if he catches you trying to steal some of his stupid.

It's like America just wanted an outrageous reality show instead of a leader.

Europe has been very careful not to escalate its sanctions against Russia. Maybe too careful. If the pipeline was on the table, maybe there would be more pressure to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

Then again, Ukraine is a corrupt state that doesn't seem to get its own shit in order so there isn't that much opposition to throw it under the bus by either EU or US.

Trump wants to sell Europe American liquified natural gas.

Obviously the best way to do that is to demonstrate how stable Europe's relationship with America can get when Europe relies on America for something important...

No. The "tell it like it is" policy bullshit is why Trump humpers like him. The rest of us realize that 1) Trump has only one outstanding moral principle. Look out for himself. 2) Trump has little to no understanding of ANY of these issues, despite numerous attempts to educate him. 3) Trump is so profoundly incurious as to not realize how little he actually knows.

This is not partisanship. This isn't even politics. It's just obvious from his talk and his behavior. What we are seeing is the behind the scenes pulling of Russia and the very right, religious leanings of his handlers, combined with his own bigotry. This is not a guess. It's not a smear. It evidential. Pick any political topic, and we can pull quotes from Trump, perfectly well in context, that show he has no depth of understanding of any of the issues. One has to have a very strongly motivated reasoning in order to ignore this and produce the cognitive dissonance necessary to continuously effectively blind themselves to that fact, no matter what is done.

Mate, Trump not only doesn't call 'it' as it is, he doesn't even appear to know how it is, so he couldn't call 'it' that way if he wanted to - for ANY chosen value of 'it'.

The guy is barely capable of putting together two sentences without contradicting himself; That's not an indication of his deep comprehension of quantum uncertainty

He rocks the boat, but not as part of any grand strategy other than to distract everyone from his own incompetence and larceny. And he doesn't know nor care who falls overboard, as long as it ain't him.

As we've learned. Whenever Trump does something, or is something, he accuses someone else of doing or being that thing. You can use that to test his reflexes instead of hitting his knee with a hammer.

... unless it's something to brag about. Then he tells everyone he's the first, only greatest etc.
He's STILL repeating the lie that nobody since Eisenhower has ever won Wisconsin (despite the fact that at seven others have done so).
Fucking lying cheating moron... the only thing consistent about this administration is TEH STOOPID.

Short video at the link:

A German newscaster reports Trump's claim that Germany is the one colluding with Russia, and bursts out laughing.

Special note for conservatives and libertarians, who just happen to use the same arguments to take the same positions on many of the same issues:
The German newscaster is laughing at us, not with us.

Aren't you glad the world mocks us instead of respecting us like they did when Obama was in office? Are you tired of all the winning yet?

Trump said this with regards to a meeting with PM May.
Trump said:
I think we probably never developed a better relationship than last night.
Does he even know what the word "relationship" means?

Lots of other stupid in his article. It just doesn't end with this guy. 'I would have done Brexit different'... yeah, you would have tried to just leave without worrying about the consequences. This idiot thinks he is an actually good negotiator... but he was actually was, was armed with a gaggle of ethically dubious lawyers.

You're saying he lied about Wisconsin?

FAKE NEWS!

You need to stop getting your information from the Failing New York Times! They're not Fair And Balanced[ent]trade[/ent]! [/conservativeandlibertarianwhocoincidentallyusethesameargumentstotakethesamepositionsonmanyissues]

Hey, we can forgive him for lying about Wisconsin, since he "doubled and tripled the US GDP" in less than 2 years.
Any fair and balanced source will tell you that's true, because Cheato SAID it.

Well, Trump called The Sun fake news. Well, not because it is a reckless tabloid print. But because they didn't reprint all the nice things he said about May.

The Sun is owned by Newscorp. Oh... and from The Sun article: "Despite the withering criticism of Mrs May’s Brexit strategy, Trump insisted he still thinks she is “a very good person”." They did print it.

Meanwhile, Trump doesn't understand things.

The Sun said:
Mr Trump also went even further in questioning whether Mrs May’s new Brexit plan upholds the referendum result — which he claimed he predicted two years ago. He said: “The deal she is striking is a much *different deal than the one the people voted on.

“It was not the deal that was in the referendum. I have just been hearing this over the last three days. I know they have had a lot of resignations. So a lot of people don’t like it.”
The deal in the referendum? The one with the options:

- "Remain a member of the European Union"
- "Leave the European Union"

That referendum... that had no "deal" in it.

*Caution... reading this could cause a stroke*

Well, the DOJ indicted 12 Russians regarding the attempted hacking of the US election in 2016. So what did the White House have to say?

White House PS - Lindsay Walters said:
Today’s charges include no allegations of knowing involvement by anyone on the campaign and no allegations that the alleged hacking affected the election result. This is consistent with what we have been saying all along.

Trump said:
He said he didn’t meddle. He said he didn’t meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. But I just asked him again, and he said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they’re saying he did.

...

He just — every time he sees me, he says, “I didn’t do that.” And I believe — I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it. But he says, “I didn’t do that.” I think he’s very insulted by it, if you want to know the truth.
