Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Let's see. Ilhan Omar said that when she came here as a kid, this was not the America her father promised her because it's a racist country. Beto O'Rourke said this country was founded on white supremacy. Libs constantly say this country is racist. AOC said Trump is a racist.
Can you cite a quote, or did you just read Trumkoff's tweets?

Don't be absurd. They came from youtube posters.

It should prove very interesting whether any of these loony tunes are re-elected next time. I've seen somewhere where AOC has just 22% support in her home state.

What, you can't remember where you saw this? I do. You found that statistic here from a source notorious for spouting nonsensical bullshit that has no link to reality. Alex Jones is more plausible than the assertions made by the source.

Really, when did "this guy said" become a reliable source of information for the right? Now that the war on Christmas is finally won, have they declared war on facts and reality? On second thoughts, don't tell me; I'm pretty sure what the answer is and it's too fucking depressing.

It should prove very interesting whether any of these loony tunes are re-elected next time. I've seen somewhere where AOC has just 22% support in her home state. The other three would probably have roughly around the same support. Only thing standing in the way is the Colonel Sanders syndrome, where chickens keep voting to get their heads chopped off!
Are U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar and AOC Polling at 8 Percent, 21 Percent Respectively? - "The figures cited by President Donald Trump supposedly were "leaked" to Axios by Democratic operatives, ironically."

The poll was of "1,003 likely general-election voters who are white and have two years or less of college education" with no further information. Was it nationwide? Or in swing states?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter: "The rule of law means *everyone* should be treated the same in the eyes of the law.
That means the rich & powerful should be held accountable for crimes as anyone else.
That includes the President.
He broke the law. And to maintain American rule of law, he must be impeached. https://t.co/9YZga1JEB4" / Twitter

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter: "Members of Congress *still* pass down stories about Bella Abzug’s legendary tenure on Capitol Hill.
I just heard one last week about someone who once tried to make her take off her hat 👒 needless to say, it stayed on. https://t.co/qikVpejcRg" / Twitter

N-YHistoricalSociety on Twitter: "As a lawyer, Bronx*-born #BellaAbzug (1920—98) defended those she considered “on the outside of power.” Abzug’s vision of women’s activism included women from all backgrounds. 📽️: National Congress for Neighborhood Women (1975) https://t.co/47HMQ960Cm #otd #WomenAtTheCenter https://t.co/VuwuGCbLAJ" / Twitter with some video of her.
Bella Abzug was a lawyer and an activist for a long time before she was elected, and one of Richard Nixon's staffers included her in an extended enemies list. In 1970, she ran for the US House of Representatives, defeating the 14-year incumbent. She stayed in the House until 1976, and she was not elected again to public office, despite her efforts. But she remained an activist.

Joe Weisenthal on Twitter: "It's incredible that people ever thought Republicans had an ideological commitment to lower deficits as opposed to an opportunistic opposition to fiscalstimulus that would get reversed as soon as the party took the White House. https://t.co/q69ZKT02iN" / Twitter noting
Justin Fox on Twitter: "This is basically what @TheStalwart was arguing back in 2012: elect Mitt Romney, and House Republicans will stop trying to cut federal spending https://t.co/DMMVhk9p8v" / Twitter

Rep. Katie Hill on Twitter: "GREAT NEWS! The House just passed the #StopBadRobocalls Act to put an end to the robocall epidemic -- I'm sick of them, you're sick of them, and what's worse is that they're not just annoying, they're dangerous. No more! https://t.co/tB5TrCnJdT" / Twitter noting

Deflection. You can not logically defend my comment

Why would anyone else want to defend your comment? It was an utterly stupid false quote. Defend your own damn comments, if you can. For example, can you provide actual quotes of any of the four congresswomen saying "America is racist", or "America is evil", or "America is disgusting"? If you can't, your comment was less than worthless.

Let's see. Ilhan Omar said that when she came here as a kid, this was not the America her father promised her because it's a racist country. Beto O'Rourke said this country was founded on white supremacy. Libs constantly say this country is racist. AOC said Trump is a racist.

Yet, they want immigrants to come here. Why? So they can get disrespected by racists? So they can get killed by a fascist regime? Maybe...just maybe....they don't really believe America is a terrible place deep down inside. They just have to play the racist/bigot/fascist card to fear monger.

Are you really asking me to cite courses that AOC said trump is a racist? The whole squad has been saying this! YOU GUYS SAY THIS!! I'm sick of you guys playing dumb with everything as if you don't know what these people said!!!

If it's incredibly well known that she has said some specific thing, then citing an occasion on which she did so should be trivial for you to do.

It would be infinitely more effective for you to do so, than it is for you to rant about other people and groups you are now making a similar unsupported claim for.

Which makes me think that you don't, in fact, have any actual support at all for your claim.

If you want me to change that opinion of you and your position, it's very easy to do that - just provide a citation from a reputable source.

If you are sick of people dismissing your unsupported claims, your smart move would be to support some of your claims. Throwing up more and wilder unsupported claims isn't a smart solution to your nausea. Even using ALL CAPS isn't going to convince anyone who is smart enough to ask for evidence before believing some random guy on the Internet. Particularly one who appears to have started arguing with himself.

Are you really asking me to cite courses that AOC said trump is a racist?
I was actually hoping for all ofbthe things you say she said. About Trump, about America. All that. You have this gaping hole shere yourcredibility goes.
The whole squad has been saying this! YOU GUYS SAY THIS!!
i say lots of things. Thst is not the same as proof someone who is not me says it.
I'm sick of you guys playing dumb with everything as if you don't know what these people said!!!
no, i think at this point, taking your word for anything is dumb.
Jesus says gay is a sin, for example, because Adam said married men should leave home. No mention of sin, there, no mention of gay relationships at the point of there only being two people in the world....

Or any of your othrr failures to support your claims.

Just pick one, at this point. Any single point supported would double my estimation of you.

So saying the President is racist is the same as hating America? Think long and hard before answering, because the ramifications of you assertion is something I know you haven't thought through to its logical conclusion.
And, for the record, a gay white man being able to take a selfie at a Pride Parade with a immigrant female practicing Muslim who was democratically voted into Congress shows how free, inclusive and great America can be at its best. That you would consider such an act to be "America hating" speaks volumes about your character.

Did you miss all the people trashing her in the comments? Islam is against homosexuality. She would throw that guy off a rooftop in her home country if she could. She is playing you guys and you are falling for it. And there's tons of people who feel this way if you read the comments to that tweet.

Well, tbf it took a few decades....

For some reason, you think that "tons of people's" feelings about ____ make ____ true. Well, tons of people feel that Mr. Trump is a racist POS. Using your standard, that makes it true.

Islam is against homosexuality.
So is Christianity, but many Christians don’t pay attention to that part

She would throw that guy off a rooftop in her home country if she could.
And what evidence is there for that?

She is playing you guys and you are falling for it.
Evidence that she is playing anyone?

There are tons of people who believe all kinds of things. Flat earthers, creationists, moon landing hoaxers, birthers, truthers, etc..

Seriously, do you have a learning disability? All jokes aside, it appears as though you find it difficult to remain focused on a single subject for a protracted amount of time. I'll map out the thread of the discussion so please try to remain focused.
1) You claimed that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hates America.
2) When asked for proof, you pointed out how it is common knowledge that AOC alleges that Trump is a racist.
3) That AOC believes Trump is a racist is not in doubt. I think he is a racist cunt too. But saying AOC hates America because she thinks Trump is a racist only makes sense if calling the President racist means hating America.

So, is saying the President is racist the same as hating America? Simple yes or no will do. I tried to make it as clear and concise as I could for you, I hope that helps.

Also, Halfie insists all dems are racist. If he believed this three years ago, he believed the pres was racist. So he hates America.

It should be noted that Rep. Omar isn't the same person as Rep. Ocasio Cortez (topic of thread). I understand that for some people, women can all look scary to them, but we should be able to tell them apart still.
Americans shouldn't fear jihadis, what they really should fear are white men! FFS!!

Candidate Omar said:
I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country.
According a 2014 FBI review, blacks committed more acts of murder, so here statement wasn't accurate overall. However, she was correct that Americans (including Whites) are killing each other at a much much higher rate than Jihadists.

Strike one, this is not a quote from Ilhan Omar. I asked for quotes, not paraphrases.

Beto O'Rourke said this country was founded on white supremacy.

Strike two, Beto is not one of the women in "The Squad". Also, same problem as the last one, you provided a paraphrase, not a quote.

Libs constantly say this country is racist. AOC said Trump is a racist.

Strike three, y'er out! Once again, not a direct quote, just another paraphrase, but the bigger problem is that calling Trump a racist is not the same as saying "America is racist!" For the record, Trump is a racist.

You already struck out, but you just keep on swinging. Please take a seat in the dugout, you will get another chance to hit the next time you decide to put words in people's mouths, but I will note that your batting average is currently .000 half way through the season, so don't get too excited.

Anyway, in answer to the ignorant questions and comments posed above, I doubt any of those four women believe that America is a terrible place, you are the who made that contention, but now you are suddenly disagreeing with yourself. That is just a bit odd, but not unexpected given the source. Even if they do think America is terrible, they only need to think that it is less terrible than the place from which the immigrants are coming for them to feel that those immigrants should come here.

Pelosi says she doesn’t have ‘many differences’ with AOC after private meeting - POLITICO
Ocasio-Cortez did not say anything as she walked into the speaker’s office shortly before 8:30 a.m., and she quietly slipped out 30 minutes later, eluding reporters.

...
“I don’t think we have that many differences,” Pelosi said after the meeting as she rushed to the House floor to open the chamber for the day. Pelosi said “no” when asked if she discussed Ocasio-Cortez’s comments from earlier this month suggesting the speaker was singling out congresswomen of color. “I have meetings with members all the time...we covered a range of issues in our conversation particular to the congresswoman’s committees,” she said.

Pelosi: There was never ‘any hatchet’ to bury with Ocasio-Cortez - POLITICO
Pelosi went on to describe Ocasio-Cortez as “gracious” and downplayed the fight between the two as a family disagreement. “I don’t think there ever was any hatchet. We’re in a political arena,” Pelosi told reporters in a press conference Friday. “In a family you have your differences but you’re still a family.”

... But later, Ocasio-Cortez said she's "looking forward to us continuing our work." "I think the speaker respects the fact that we’re coming together as a party and a community," Ocasio-Cortez told reporters as she left a House Oversight Committee hearing.

...
House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), who held a hearing on drug pricing on Friday, said Ocasio-Cortez told him she had "a good feeling" after the sit-down with Pelosi. "She said it was a great meeting," Cummings told reporters. "And she’s moving forward. I know the speaker is too.”

“This doesn’t look like the America you promised,” Omar recalled telling her father, Nur Omar Mohamed.

“We’re not in our America yet,” he replied to his 12-year-old daughter. In Omar’s immigrant story, America wasn’t a “city on a hill,” a haven for grateful masses fleeing war and oppression. Rather, it was a broken promise. “I arrived at the age of 12 and learned that I was the extreme other,” she often said. “I was black. I was Muslim. I also learned I was extremely poor and that the classless America that my father talked about didn’t exist.”

"Here we are in Nashville, I know this from my home state of Texas, those places that formed the Confederacy, that this country was founded on white supremacy and every single institution and structure that we have in our country still reflects the legacy of the slavery and segregation and Jim Crow and suppression, even in our democracy," the former Texas congressman said on Monday.

Man, you guys don't pay attention to anything.

What she doesn't understand is that she shouldn't be wearing the hijab. The hijab is a symbol of oppression from her country. A man will behead you for not wearing it. When people see her with the hijab, it looks like she supports those men. If you guys claim she's not a radical Muslim, then why doesn't she stop wearing the oppressive hijab?
