If Trump gets a second term, get ready for fascism. Prepare for the death of free speech. Be prepared for gun-laden thugs on the streets, hidden jails crammed with critics and dissidents; that is, those lucky enough to survive.
Many of the others will be ‘neutralized’ by heavily armed Trumpist no-nothings backed by police forces already infiltrated by right-wing extremists.
These are people already locked and loaded by the soulless munitions industry and corrupt NRA. These gun-carrying dummies are beneficiaries of political misuse and abuse of the second amendment providing them with military weapons.
And black and brown people beware. The knee of the Federal government is going to come down hard on your necks in a way that will make the George Floyd’s Minneapolis police murder look like nothing. What progress that’s already been made will be wiped out if Trump and his army of violent ignoramuses are in power.
All this will be the answer to the Kremlin’s prayers. With Trump and his cronies continuing, the Russians will have greedy puppets with strings that are easily pulled. With America out of the way, Putin will go after targets on his own borders and in Europe – countries too weak and discouraged to defend themselves without our support.
Meanwhile, dirty Donald, Putin’s oligarchs, and the wealthy one per cent in this country will expand their acquisition of American property and lands. At the same time, vast swaths of the world’s population will flee from raging fires, barren lands, rising oceans, and environmental devastation leading to sickness and death for millions.
What’s left globally will be the dispossessed generation, the orphans, and exiles of so-called modernity.
America was built by people who fled from authoritarianism. Yet, under Trump we are bringing it here, killing a fragile democracy that’s managed to survive only for a couple of hundred years – and was once the envy of the world.
Trump is rising in the polls and is now at the point where the slightest secret ‘hate vote’ — all those polite soccer moms who say they’d never vote for him and then do, in the heat of the voting booth — will give him an outright victory. He won’t even have to contest a loss, as he’s sure to do. He will just win.
These are some of the issues that are on the table with the coming election."
