Trump Tests Positive For Covid-19

It's a little premature to forecast President Donald Trump's demise. I'm gonna wait for the Muslims dancing in New Jersey.

And then I'm gonna join in.

The depth and magnitude of projection there is breathtaking. Trump and his fucking Nazi followers would like to eradicate whole groups of people. Fuck him and his mindless authority-fellating mongrel base.

And that's not accurate anyway. No one wants him to die until after the election, and then hoping he will live a long life in prison. And you know what? It's good that you fucking right wing snowflakes take exception to being treated the only fucking way you and your ilk know how to treat anyone outside of your delusional ideological bubble.

Also, is that image even real or is it just more right wing photoshop bullshit?

The Babylon Bee is like a conservative Christian version of The Onion. As you know, conservatives are triggered by science and facts so much that they have become paranoid about all organizations. So they have to make their own versions.Trausti either knows this or was tricked by the article. You can tell these are not Democrats during the pandemic because no one in the background is wearing a mask. Looks like a past photo with the actor or photoshopped person propped in front...

A couple things...

First, Babylon Bee is a satire site. We all knew that, right?

Second, the really scary thing about this situation is how irresponsible the White House has been with...the White House.

Love 'em or think they're evil personified, the Trump White House is the center of an entire branch of the federal government. It's not just the President and his family who were put at risk. Not just his Secret Service detail. Not just his closest advisors. He also exposed or potentially exposed cabinet members, high rankin Senators, military leaders, and other people with their fingers on the levers of power in the US. This is the equivalent of...well, there's never been anything like this. Trump and his inner circle exposed the top tier of an entire branch of the federal government to a deadly virus. This is appallingly irresponsible. If Putin or Xi or any adversary wanted to hit us in the gonads, and they had a bio-weapon at hand, the most devastating thing they could do would be to unleash it in a manner where it would hit the executive and spread among the senior staff and maybe even the President.

In this case, the President himself is the guy who potentially kneecaps his own government.

Holy fuck.

Yeah. If this were back in the 1980s, and a guy known to be potentially compromised by the Russians had infected the Whitehouse with a deadly virus, it would have started WWIII.

"We begin bombing in five minutes." - Ronald Reagan.

I just assumed that 'Make America Great Again' was a vacuous slogan. I had no idea that there was a plan to actually achieve that, by killing off all the right-wing authoritarians with a bio-weapon just before polling day.

I mean, it could work, but as a plan, it's a bit too 'Bond villain' for my liking.

Yeah. I've said this about Nixon before, and I'll say it about Reagan as well:

At his core, Reagan was a patriot. Misguided and in later years addled as he was, Ronnie (like Dick) felt that what he was doing was for the good of the country. Trump only thinks about himself. The mask makes him look "weak." Social distancing would hurt his rally attendance. He thinks it's a "hoax" or no big deal, and maybe a sinister plot to make him look bad. He literally put his image above the safety and security of the country. Trump isn't a patriot. Not even a little.

That's a point that John Bolton made -- the poor response of the US to COVID-19 suggests a poor response to a biological-weapon attack. He may be a warmonger, but I'll give him that much, if nothing else.

Trump Has Covid-19

President Trump has been stricken with Covid-19. I heard that millions have prayed for him. When I prayed, I didn't ask God to heal Donald Trump. I begged God to heal him.
Certain people hate Trump but he does not deserve to have Covid-19. Nobody does. I'm asking everybody who reads this to pray for President Trump. If you already have been praying for him, I thank you.
I'm not a Joe Biden supporter, but I sure hope that he doesn't get the Coronavirus. Let's hope and pray that President Trump gets well.

But is there anything useful we can do?

No.

If you prayed to god to heal Trump, why do I need to? Does god only listen if x amount of people pray to her? Or is god's hearing not so well?

My prediction is that by April we will be laughing going, "Remember how everyone panicked over the coronavirus because the media started fear mongering?"

The timing might be off, but I'm definitely laughing now.

God is the creator of all things. Coronavirus is a thing, which means God created it. God also has complete control over who becomes infected with it, how contagious they become, how ill they become, what long term damage they suffer, whether they live or die. Whatever has happened or will happen to Trump is because God has wanted that to happen.

If I thought that prayer worked, I would pray to God to be less of an asshole and to spare creating hurricanes that kill thousands of people before praying that God spare Donald Trump.

I can't explain why, but parts of the song, "Masters of War' keeps running through my head.....

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good?
Will it buy you forgiveness?
Do you think that it could?I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soulAnd I hope that you die
And your death will come soon
I'll follow your casket
On a pale afternoon

I really don't understand why we are supposed to feel sorry for Trump or wish him a speedy recovery. I put him in the same category as any other lying, corrupt autocratic leader who does extreme damage to others. There's the children that he allowed to be separated from their parents, there's the countries that he's sold weapons to knowing full well that they will use them against innocent civilians, there's the deals he's made with autocratic leaders and there's the way that he's responded to a deadly virus, without showing the least bit of concern for its victims, and that's just a few examples of his amoral behavior. No. We don't need to send him well wishes. Not that well wishes have any impact on a virus.

What has happened to Trump is the result of his own vanity and unwillingness to treat a deadly virus seriously. Payback is hell. Regardless if he survives without any serious complications or dies as a result of his carelessness and underlying risk factors, has nothing to do with whether or not we wish him well or hope that he dies. Personally, I just want him out of office, one way or another, but I am not responsible for the outcome of an illness that he brought on himself.

Still, there are times, when I feel a wee bit sorry for him. He's a tragic figure in a way, a victim of his own genetic and environmental heritage, as I believe we all are. Regardless, he never should have been given the power to destroy our imperfect democracy.

Senator Ron Johnson announced that he has COVID. That makes 3 Republican Senators that have been infected. If they are all sick, how will they be able to push through the SCOTUS nominee? They wouldn't let Pelosi do virtual votes, but they are such hypocrites that they might change their view on that now. Idiots!

Does this prayer list include every dumb soul who showed up at a Trump rally (aka caveman convention) and got infected? The New Jersey fatcats he schmoozed with midweek? The senators, judicial staff, family members, security, wait staff, reporters who came into his orbit?
Not that it makes a particle of difference, if you read up on the double-blind studies of the efficacy of prayer in healing. Every President receives the best medical knowledge and technology that his era has produced. In another words, Trump will get the attention that the other potential sufferers listed above can only dream about.

The Tree of Liberty needs a sacrifice.

As does the tree of Photoshop and Photoedit.

Beating up on Trumpo is like beating up on someone with a mental handicap that acts like an idiot. What's the point of besting such a person?

Not really. Trump willfully harms individuals, his undesired groups, the country, and the world needlessly. His actions and in-actions have caused needless suffering and death. All to satisfy his cruel ego.

There's another problem. The letters look a little bit too neat, sort of like they were painted on with an image editor.

Here is the source of that image: Party That Wants To Run Your Healthcare Roots For Political Opponent To Die | The Babylon Bee

Google has a similar-image search capability, and I found the likely original of this image: File:WASHINGTON, DC -- August 14 2017- Protesters gather outside the White House to rally against white supremacy. (35766534863).jpg - Wikimedia Commons

There are rules against name calling and personal attacks, but an exception should be allowed when someone posts an article from a Satire Website as real news.

Air Force One: Trump team's infections raise questions about Covid-19 aboard 'the flying White House' - CNNPolitics
The positive coronavirus test for a high-profile Air Force One passenger raises the possibility that has concerned aviation experts for months: that the virus can easily spread inside a confined aircraft cabin.

Experts fear the infection potentially puts at risk hundreds of people who travel on, operate and maintain "the flying White House" -- threatening not only a highly recognizable icon of America, but also the smooth operation of a key national security tool used to evacuate the president in a crisis.
All because of Trump's negligence.

Opinion | Reality Bursts the Trumpworld Bubble - The New York Times
The man whose father told him there are only killers and zeros, the man who cruelly castigated others as losers, the man who was taught to fear losing above all else, has been doing some very public losing of his own.

Upsetting as it is to see the president and first lady facing a mortal threat — and the glee and memes from some on the left were vulgar — it was undeniable that reality was crashing in on the former reality star.

Remarkable new reporting in The New York Times exposed the hoax of Trump, master businessman. Even as he was beginning to swagger around “The Apprentice” to the tune of “For the Love of Money” by The O’Jays in 2004, he was filing a tax return reporting $89.9 million in net losses. The gilt barely covered the rot.

...
“I don’t wear masks like him,’’ Trump sneered about Biden, at the obstreperous Cleveland debate. “Every time you see him, he’s got a mask.

“He could be speaking 200 feet away,’’ the president continued, “and he shows up with the biggest mask I’ve ever seen.”
After pooh-poohing the virus for so long, he catches it.
