Covid-19 miscellany

You've asserted, without evidence, that kids with Covid don't spread it to others very much.

Which is true if you care to look into it.

View attachment 35604

No, it isn't.

The most recent lockdown in Queensland was required to eradicate the outbreak depicted in the above graphic. This cluster was analysed in great detail, with each case traced back to the person who infected the individual, and confirmed with full genome sequencing of the virus for every patient (something only possible because we had no other cases in the state at the time).

It's clear from this outbreak that the most significant vectors were children; And transmission both in schools, and between schools at extracurricular activities, was the main route by which the virus spread from one family to another. In most cases, adults either contracted the virus from their own children, or from children that they taught or supervised.

You are simply wrong. Which, as you have provided zero evidence to support your claims, should surprise nobody.

thank you

Marlon Hampton, 49, Chattanooga, TN, unvaxxed, dead from COVID, this story is about Patrick Hampton.

Patrick is a columnist for the "Patriot Post" and two days before his brother died he published this article https://patriotpost.us/articles/83151-from-heroes-to-zeroes-2021-10-04 We'll show the posts of Patrick taking his brother out of the care of doctors at Erlanger Clinic because they wouldn't treat him with Ivermectin and vitamins. Marlon subsequently died at home.

Too bad he wasn't in a swing state.

Interesting, it is available in Russia but not in Argentina.

Do you think that that depends on the uploader, or some other reason?
It would be odd that they specifically wanted to make it available in Russia and not in Argentina. Maybe it's the default for youtube?

not available in Canada

Thanks for the info. So, very probably that's not the default for Youtube (i.e., Russia but not Canada). Maybe it's because of what Loren Pechtel said: licenses.

I was just skipping along and happened to get to that one by chance. Saw her stance and thought, this will be interesting.

She blew my expectations out of the water!

Now, I'm not going to judge, but I'm just going to say that if sex is the first thing your mind turns to when you see kids in masks... you might be the person with the problem, not the school board.

Yeah, it's the weirdest thing I've heard associated to masks. It's like if it was cold outside, so when I went outside, I put gloves on. Then suddenly in this hypothetical my neighbor says, "you're just wearing gloves because you want to kill your great aunt." So weird and specific to say.

Yeah there is usually a lot more fluff in those conversations TSwizzle, I don't fault you though.

No, I think you mean "nuance". Stoopid people don't understand "nuance". It's too nuanced.

By the way, if anyone's interested (crickets...), my new avatar is Twitchy, the ultrahyper squirrel in the film Hoodwinked. You will understand my posts better (at least the ones with all the yammering and the punctuation marks) if you hear Twitchy's voice in your noggin while reading (read: ignoring) them.

Proceeeeed!

That's really odd. And I put Ministry on to relax.

Could not help but notice it again - bunch of hysterical women and and a school girl threatening with laws and such. And then a man who destroyed a "logic" of a woman just before him. Women are fucking stupid, statistically speaking that is (Women on board were all wearing masks)

I don't think that is what is going on. I think it's a combination of being stay-at-home mom which means isolation and reading Internet more frequently, then there are these soccer mom groups that have existed a long time, so the propaganda is shared. So you have some offshoot group of conservative women already organizing against schools in years past for other reasons, now not as mentally well, and being targeted by propagandists.

Newspapers make typos. No one here made this a hill to die on...so...?

I will add part of preventing serious outbreaks of covid has also been about preventing full hospitals. If there were no policies and no vaccinations, that's where we'd have been. None of those deaths are measured, let alone the prevented deaths.

As a reminder January 6th was mostly a sausage-fest.

Actually, it was more like 50-50, with women still being more mouthy.

It does not change the fact, it merely explains it. Yes, women, as I theorized earlier, are more susceptible to (their) group-think and are more hysterical about it.

I loved her "all y'all" construction. "All y'all are just pedophiles" or whatever. She's stupid to the marrow and "deeply unwell", to use an apt AOC expression.

Listened to the rest of the school board meeting. Scary stuff. People moving from California just to avoid masking. Guy with Australian accent.
But there were few people supporting board, including lady which had spent 20 years in Russia. She was not entirely correct about school boards in Russia. Yes, you will not be able to speak to them as she said, but this is because they don't really exist. School system in Russia is centralized and there is no democracy where you can vote any shit local idiots want. Parents can discuss some minor things with their schools but they can't vote on merits of Germ Theory or redefine Pi number.

Yeah, and most civilized countries are like Russia when it comes to schools - the government runs them.

No they're not.

There's also the selection factor.

The nutcases are the ones that show up at school board meetings. The sensible ones tend to well,....not.

No, I don't agree necessarily. It may be that more women show up for these types of meetings because there's a cultural bias of more women being more child caretakers. So showing up for school board meetings has a statistical bias of having more women show up. So you may have a Moms for Liberty radicalized Christian conservative group but we're not able to observe the status of the fathers because many more are not present. It might very well be that their involvement is more structural toward government than empathetic involvement of child care related things...so they may be more prone to join boards and scream in the private sessions or scream at boards of aldermen/town representatives or make protests. There's also a potential secondary bias that men may have more political power and so they may more often work within systems, rather than protesting at all--the Republican Party does elect way more men than women. Also, you, yourself, conceded an alleged 50/50 involvement in the Jan 6th failed coup and so maybe that is additional supporting evidence of different gender modalities for their terrorist activities.

I mean, this is respectable Matt Gaetz, an insane pervert with a great resume:
