Black Jogger Gunned Down In The Street

I mentioned Zimmerman lawyer being CNN commentator commenting on this case.
I do think that 2 cases very similar with vastly different result.
Zimmerman harassed a guy who was 100% innocent of anything and then "self-defensed" when he started losing a fight he started.

In Arbery case, we have 3 guys harassing a guy who happened to be not innocent and then they self-defensed themselves before he beat the crap out them.
What's the difference?

What 3 idiots believe at the time does not change the fact that they acted with deadly force, as boisterous and flagrant vigilantes, on mere belief of mere theft as a crime.

that needs removal from society and given an opportunity to either leave or seek reform.

I am sorry, but this tragedy is more complicated than racists lynching an innocent black jogger.
I totally agree with this one part.

A previously safe and sedate neighborhood was experiencing a rash of crime. The residents were rightfully upset. A person was acting in a suspicious way. A concerned citizen got involved.

I don't have a problem with that part. It's the utterly needless violence, resulting in death, part that I have a huge problem with. And while I think that the most plausible explanation for Arbery's behavior is that he was part of the rash of crime, I also think that the killing happened because the McMichaels thought that their connection to law enforcement would protect them. Which it almost did. They darned near got away with murder.

Which is what makes it a lynching in my opinion. Not just because white guys killed a black guy on a vague suspicion. It's because they believed that they wouldn't be held accountable for the killing by law enforcement.

I really want to see everyone in that prosecutors office who helped with the cover-up prosecuted as much as legally possible. Maybe even a little more than that.

Your theory does not hold because video was made public by the accused themselves.
They were sure it would help them. And I understand why they thought that.
In the end, it did not help because of utterly incompetent defense lawyers who decided to rely on white racists tendencies in the jury which totally backfired.

Okay, show of hands. How many people here have been on a construction site they weren't supposed to?

*all members raise hands*

Thanks, you can put your hands down now.

A concerned citizen got involved.
You mean, they grabbed a firearm and chased after a guy?

So Arbery's presence on a construction site where now theft had occurred, according to the construction company, is evidence that Arbery was involved with theft.

yes, in self-defense during citizen's arrest.

Do I need to repeat myself?

Your edit makes a lie of the truth, the full relevant extent of which was posted and which you removed to lead-paint over that full geometry.

I can honestly say, "I have never been on a construction site I wasn't supposed to."
I sincerely doubt that I'm the only person who hasn't trespassed, much of anywhere. The closest I came was grabbing wood scraps from a home building site's burn pile to build a tree house.

You can repeat all you want.
Your edit makes a lie of the truth
No, my edit removed incorrect part and added correct one.
If it is incorrect, then you can kindly point out which part of

"as boisterous and flagrant"
"vigilantes",
"on mere belief"
"of mere theft as a crime"

are false?

All these things have been well discussed and proven. None of these things are acceptable conduct of free men. Thus...

Such needs removal from society and given an opportunity to either leave or seek reform.

Extremely inappropriate way to get involved, but yes. They didn't go out looking for Arbery in particular, they were looking for the source of the crimes. Arbery looked like it.

For the millionth time - Arbery is dead because he attacked a guy with a gun, not because he trespassed some construction site.
For the millionth time, Arbery was attacked by a guy with a gun. He tried to defend himself and the guy with a gun murdered him.

well said. And I'll add that the three murderers (yeah I can call them that now) weren't on trial for thinking Arbery was the thief, they were on trial for actually murdering him.

Nope.
Which part of my post are you waving away?

12 people on the jury said yup.
