Merged So what's next for Trump?

I had to check out those shoes. A couple of google clicks later and I landed on Trump Store, the official retail website of The Trump Organization. Never knew this existed. Oh sweet Jesus. It's worth a look and, honestly, the prices were lower than I expected, not much different from Kohls on a lot of things. Their catch phrase: Experience the World of Trump (thanks, dipshit, but I already had to do that, for 4 years.) A few of the items I looked at:
Blue Monster Headcover (this is one of many headcovers for golf clubs. Looks pretty stupid.)
Trump Pajama Pants
Camo-Beaded Trump Clutch (a mini-purse if you are buying gifts for a senile aunt)
Paisley Dog Leash
Sour Gummies (also what Stormy called it when...no, skip it)

No underwear or support hose on the site. No books (duh.) Lots of baseball caps. Good for a ten-minute browse.

Apparently the limited run of $399 shoes have already sold out. My guess is that the reason is some version of "daddy bought all the Girl Scout cookies."

Thank goodness this was after Xmas or there could have been many disappointed children of MAGA.

Hundreds already being sold on eBay. It wouldn’t surprise me if the entire run of 1,000 was bought to resell to MAGA morons. Some have already sold for over $5,000. Some people are selling just the box for $125. 🤣

Does he still have the ability to seek a review from the entire DC Circuit? That seemed the more logical direction. I suppose the one problem they might have considered was the ruling was so airtight, they didn't want SCOTUS to thumbs down a review.

Incompetence or a chess move?

I would say neither. The article points out that this was only about immunity from civil liability, not criminal liability. That is still very much on appeal to SCOTUS. Besides, the Trump strategy is just one of delay. Letting a deadline pass still takes time, and they may have felt that the cost of pursuing this one wasn't worth the benefit, since it would probably have failed anyway. Even if he loses the appeal for immunity from criminal liability--the delay in getting it to the Supreme Court will have been worth it. And the pro-Trump judges on SCOTUS may well understand that they can get away with helping Trump to delay the process and still turn down that ridiculous appeal in the end. Nobody really believes it will succeed, but they can drag their feet about actually saying that and letting the trial proceed expeditiously.

It's kind of apropos that the event he went to, to announce his high-tops was called Sneaker Con.
I wonder where they were made?
Near all such shoes are imported from Asia.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if they came with a "Made in China" label?

They probably added the T and the stars in the US. The “added value” makes them Made in USA by some contorted definitions due to some very porous rules. Don’t ask me how I know.

Where do they typically make clown shoes?

Republican PACs have spent $55 million on Trump’s legal fees for his criminal charges last year, and the trials haven’t even started yet.

Yep! not disclosed. I bet it starts with C and ends with a. But these MAGAots still seem to think this is just fine.

Apparently orange and gold is the new black!
