"Always" to ax female symbol from sanitary products packages in nod to trans users....GOD HELP US!

Actually, the use of the symbol for female on the wrappers of individual pads is fairly recent. Reverting to an earlier design shouldn’t be a problem.

Again, this is an ‘issue’ that is so far overblown that it boggles the mind.

That is because you are a woman. You don’t appreciate the repercussions of this landsliding into forcing restaurants to serve food that only trans people like!

Be careful. That happened in Europe, remember?

Day cares changed to halal meat to accommodate Muslim children.

What if the children want to eat something that the Muslim kids can't?

What if someone details a conversation because they have no good substantive arguments against leaving things off wrappers that alienate customers.

What I gather from this is that you WANT hygiene products to have imagery that alienates some part of their customer base, and you want all such products to explicitly alienate because you want to shame those who are being alienated.

You want Merry Christmas because you wish to alienate nonchristians.

You want this astrology/pagan indicator n of FEMALE to alienate everyone not female who would use them.

Prove me wrong.

They eat it at home.

Which is a far better situation than if the school served food that some of the students couldn't eat.

Not getting to eat your favorite food is not the same thing as not getting to eat.

I for one refuse to use a product that markets to all of its potential customers rather than just some of them for some reason! This guy will not be buying any sanitary pads from here on out!

I think it is time we just cracked open people’s head and ate the goo on the inside. All is lost! First some symbol on a product the Woke of Woke apparently think is matters in some way... next Olive Garden will serve Mexican... next cannibalism!

These threads are getting so predictable and stupid.

Not to mention preventing the opportunity of some little sociopathic spawn (hint: at that age, they are all sociopathic) from being a bully or asshole over who eats what, or some older sociopathic fuck from making the acceptable menu choice be small and awful (sloppy joe vs a plate of celery sticks and dry crackers).

Eating brains is a good way to get prion disease. Plus I've heard it is the main cause of zombieism.

Unless you have an allergy, all of the students can eat all of the meals. There are no meals that the children of Muslim parents cannot eat, because Allah doesn't exist and if she did it would be morally correct to defy her.

When pork is taken off the menu because some white saviors felt like appeasing Muslim parents who were not even consulted, every child there pays the price.

That could explain a few things.

No, they just stopped serving pork.
Really, if you must lie, lie on a youtube channel where they will believe you.

Isn't it racist to assume that Muslim = not white? Or that the staff proposing the change to no pork are white?

For most of their childhoods, my kids were raised vegetarian. For the rest of their childhoods, they were raised with meals that sometimes contained meat and fish but with no pork. Ever.

They had lots of friends who loved to eat dinner at our house. My children are all adults and are all adventurous eaters now, a couple reverting to being vegetarian (one lapsed), and a couple of omnivores, both of whom love pork products. They all take a great deal of delight in sampling foods from as many different cultures and cuisines as possible and are still enamored with some of the old family favorites, including vegetarian ones.

The 'price' my kids paid was that they were raised with a low fat/high vegetable/fruit content very healthy diet that set them up for lifelong good eating habits.

No one. Absolutely not one single person is being harmed by not being offered pork at school. Nor was my child who had a serious sweet tooth harmed by not being offered cookies or ice cream every day, no matter how much they insisted that they neeeeeeeeeeded it.

Not to derail a serious discussion, (cough, cough), but I always thought that this is the symbol for the female gender -- not infinity.

Most children at that age either wish or try to obey their parents. So, if a parent says 'don't eat pork", they won't - no matter how you feel about it.
When pork is taken off the menu because some white saviors felt like appeasing Muslim parents who were not even consulted, every child there pays the price.
Nonsense. Any child who either does not like pork or who is Jewish does not suffer at all.

As for the children who do like pork, their parents can either send their lunches or switch schools if they feel that is really important.

This is a really astonishing response. First, even though Muslims can be of any race, including white, it is progressives who have won the cultural war on calling anti-Islam sentiment "racist", no matter what is under discussion. You've won that war. It's a widely accepted nonsense. Anti-Islam sentiment is racist because Muslims are black and brown. Do you now oppose progressive thinking in this area?

But secondly, the details of the story were that the centre directors were white Germans from a background of cultural Christianity. The centre directors were definitely not Muslim: that would have been a pertinent fact to mention.
For most of their childhoods, my kids were raised vegetarian. For the rest of their childhoods, they were raised with meals that sometimes contained meat and fish but with no pork. Ever.

That's a great story you should tell it at parties. I've snipped the rest of it.

Non. Pork is a central part of traditional German cuisine, and the children who like pork and are missing out on it are paying the price. You can insist, incoherently, that removing an entire ingredient cannot reduce somebody's enjoyment, and you'd be wrong.

Although you've now said children don't need cookies "every day", as if pork were merely being reduced rather than taken off the menu.

If you are going to be fine with someone else paying the price so that Muslims are catered to, at least admit they are paying a price. But don't piss on someone's boots and tell 'em it's raining.

roflcopter. Yeah, no child has ever eaten food that they've been told not to. The hand in the cookie jar meme was manufactured from whole cloth.

Nonsense. Any child who either does not like pork or who is Jewish does not suffer at all. .

Any child who likes pork, whether their parents are Muslims or Jews or vegans or even evil white people, pay the price of not enjoying it when it is struck from a menu. At least have the cojones to acknowledge that.

As for the children who do like pork, their parents can either send their lunches or switch schools if they feel that is really important.

Or they can push back against the change. That too is an option. Changing schools is not as easy as, say, changing tampon brands.

The purpose of religion is to control the behavior of people when you don't have a rational reason for the behavior. People living three thousand years ago in the Levant knew that people who didn't eat certain foods like pork and shellfish were generally healthier than people who did. They didn't know why so it became a directive from a non-existent god not to eat those foods.

Maybe the religious among us can explain to us why people still follow these three-thousand-year-old ignorances today when we understand the advantages of thoroughly cooking pork and refrigerating shellfish.
