Bidengate Breaks... err... down

I don't know if there was evidence of a crime on the laptop but there was certainly some evidence that Hunter Bidon was giving access to the then VP of the USA to Hunter's business associates. Is it important? Maybe not to you and I but others may view it differently.

Even if true, is it anywhere close to as important that Musk spent $290 million to elect Trump and then is given near unlimited and unaccountable power within the government? Just to name one outlandishly corrupt endeavor in the current state of affairs.

Wake up, fellah.

I don't know if there was evidence of a crime on the laptop...
We can be 105% certain there isn't... because the GOP scoured every aspect they could with the laptop and all we got were nude and drug use photos.... unless you are saying... oh my gosh?!

I think you should worry less about what Musk spent and more about what Harris spent and still couldn't get elected. Musk isn't why we are where we are, fellah.

The FBI ordered its agents to stop discussing Hunter Biden’s laptop just hours after one of its own employees inadvertently confirmed its authenticity to Twitter, according to newly disclosed internal communications obtained by congressional investigators. The revelation, reported by investigative journalist Catherine Herridge in a joint investigation with Michael Shellenberger, stems from internal FBI chat logs released to House committees. The messages show that senior officials moved swiftly to clamp down on internal discussion following the unintentional confirmation — just as the New York Post published its explosive October 14, 2020 report. “I recall that when the question came up, an intelligence analyst assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division said something to the effect of, ‘Yes, the laptop is real’,” the FBI’s former Russia unit chief told House investigators during a closed-door transcribed interview, according to Herridge’s report.

A lot of effort went into suppressing this nothing burger story it seems.
Do you think it’s an invasion of privacy to print the contents in the public of a private persons laptop?

Ordinarily I would say yes. But this wasn't an ordinary situation. This was a unique situation involving Hunter Bidon and Joe Biden who was running for election. Perhaps there was something in the laptop that was of interest to the public?

If there is evidence of a crime I’m open to a discussion.

But what is important is the lengths that government officials went to in keeping the story quiet. The intimidation of the press and the circling of the wagons in that it was all a Russian misinformation operation.

And now this.

If this had been about Trump, we know it would have been handled very differently.

But I haven’t heard crap from your guys who had the laptop for two years…

I don't have any guys.
Sigh! In April 2024, a joint investigation lead by two republican house oversight committees found that the laptop belonged to Hunter but it demonstrated no wrong doing by Joe Biden. Just google “Hunter Biden laptop conspiracy” in Wiki.

Sure but a lot of people went to a lot of trouble to cover that fact up.
A lot of people have gone to incredible lengths to demonstrate that big foot exists. But who cares? Again the issue to me is simple, we should not be snooping into other people’s lap top (it’s just weird), unless there is evidence of a crime, and after 3 years of investigation, there is no evidence.

The contents of the laptop while amusing and salacious are neither here nor there. The interesting part, for me anyway, is how the government and MSM went to great lengths to suppress a nothing burger as some sort of Russian disinformation operation etc.

Like Trump's tax returns?

Don't try to excuse your poor research skills with tinfoil conspiracies. There was no cover up. It's your own fault you only get your news from places like the Daily Mail. I'm embarrassed for you.

Nope. Tswizzle is talking about the lengths people went to suppress the "nothing burger" as you called it.
You MAGA never ever did shut the fuck up about it. Ergo no suppression. It's interesting that you keep ignoring Blastula's pretty relevant point however - when does the FBI speak about ongoing investigations?

There you have it. Your position is completely void and worthless.

??????! Maybe they did this because it is a nothing burger!!

Surely you don't think that is the case? MSM media and tech companies such as Twitter were "advised" to suppress the story by the Feds. The NY Post article couldn't be shared online because of it.

After the fact, we now know that it wasn’t a Russian disinformation operation. But I can understand why so many thought this!

Maybe people thought it was because 50 former FBI spooks put out a letter saying it was? But in reality, I don't think many people truly believed the Hunter Biden laptop was a Russian disinformation operation.

This carries water... until one considers that the GOP did nothing regarding the laptop. And the GOP made some grandiose claims about content on their. But when it came to actually litigating over it... nothing. So your 'but why did...' isn't relevant until you can explain why the GOP did nothing about the laptop.

Nope, the investigations never found anything on JB.

Meanwhile, in broad daylight Trump and Musk quid pro quo up the yinyang.

Me explain why the GOP did nothing about the laptop? Why would I be obliged to explain that? Why does anything "need to be done" about the laptop? The story here isn't so much about what was on the laptop, as hilarious as they are but about how government agencies were trying to censor it. Why government went to great lengths to suppress sharing The New York Post articles about the laptop.

Suppress the NY Post articles? As in, the articles that were published?

Suppress the sharing of the article online. But you knew what I meant. Plus the effort that went into trying to make it all look like a Russian misinformation operation. :hysterical:

Suppress the sharing of the article online.
WTF? Do tell; how does one “suppress the sharing of the article online”?
Every goddam stupid thing I have ever seen online is “shareable”. Maybe you have some filter on your devices? It does seem like you have very limited access to things like FACTS.
