Every time she and Spicer open their mouths with another lie at Cheato's direction, there is something of actual import from which they are attempting to distract the press. If you have not listened to her delivery of those lies, you should do so - then come back here and explain how you reached such a stupid, counter-factual conclusion about it.

What? We are expected to believe that a person with a history of propagating outrageous lies was, for once, merely making an error?

One does not accidentally make a public statement about a recent massacre in ones home country that never actually happened. It's a bare faced lie, and your attempt to dismiss it as a mere error is laughable, as well as being both sad and stupid.

...and ya gotta love how she used her fabricated alt-fact to slam the media; "it didn't get covered".
Now WP, I know it's a strain, but try to visualize; she knew about the two Iraquis. She knew that the massacre they committed wasn't covered AT ALL by the media. She knew that there was no kefuffle about a massacre not being covered by the media. What, in your orange, fevered imagination could make you think she actually thought there had been a massacre, and that Obama had put a ban on refugees? Are you drunk, or do you thing Kellyann Con-way has been reading too many of her own alternative facts?
I guess the question is this:

Massacre verses no massacre. That is an error in the sense of saying the Cleveland Browns won the Super Bowl in 2013. While mass killings are not uncommon enough in the US, it hasn't gotten to the point where mistakes about whether a massacre happened or not can be considered an honest mistake.

Plus it is worth remembering that President Mussolini ran on the platform of "everything the Obama administration did is wrong and destroyed the country," making their excuse of "well Obama did it so it must be okay" an odd choice.

Then there is also the chance that what they're doing is lying to people about how refugee bans are perfectly normal and they're not doing anything extraordinary.
