It's called respect, Bill. We want them to feel welcome and it's the custom in their country, so while the Japanese delegation is in town, we're all going to take our shoes off outside like they do back home.

We’ve debunked it before, but this photo just won’t go away. The 1948 picture above doesn’t show Albert Einstein with his therapist. The guy Einstein’s meeting with is Cord Meyer, Jr., president of the United World Federalists. Meyer, a CIA operative, was merely discussing world politics with the famed scientist.

Did Albert Einstein have a therapist and for what reason did he have a therapist? This is a well know hoax. The photo is from Life magazine and was taken in 1948 by Alfred Eisenstaedt (who was also the photographer of V-J Day in Times Square). The original caption is “Cord Meyer Jr., president of United World Federalists, Inc., visiting physicist Albert Einstein at his home to discuss Russia's attitude toward world government."
