Democrats 2020

I realize that you are simply fixated within your itty bitty world of hate for everything not alt-right, but you are carping on just 3 words 'moderate green libertarian', while knowing next to nothing of my views. I am not a Green or a greenie (especially as you would define it). Those 3 words are just a sliver of a window's view into my views. Maybe you should try to comprehend another's POV before hurling your favorite play thing...monkey shit.

Anyway, my point still stands, why would anyone pay any attention to your twisted commentary when you label Biden as a pedophile, while licking Clownstick's ass...

If you happen to be married with a little girl, would you leave them in the care of creepy Joe? His senility alone would place them in danger!

I'm married, and have an adult son. If he (or an imagined girl) were a child, I would sure as hell be more comfortable leaving a child with Joe than the twisted Clownstick who can't keep his hands/lips off of women who he never asked permission from...never mind his barging into to dressing rooms of under age teenage women at pageants. It ain't even close to a contest, but you keep throwing your monkey shit...cuz you have nothing else.

Ugh - I cringed when I read Biden’s comment about “you’re not a black person if...”

Height of privilege. At least he has the self awareness to accept the feedback that it was offensive, though that’s a small consolation.

However, if given a choice between his careless privilege, and Trump’s malignant hate, I still know which I prefer.

The worst part is that while he said it in a way that will most certainly damage his chances, the thing he was trying to communicate, poorly, is true: a black person voting for Trump is like a Jew voting for Hitler; it is a direct violation of self-interest and an insult to the culture and community from which the person so doing came from.

If just half African/Americans and Hispanics as this poll shows support the Trump, he may well do a clean sweep of all 50 states! Wouldn't that be something! [admittedly this poll was pre Chinese flu. ]

The only place that will be happening is in your wet dreams. It would be more likely that 2020 will resemble Carter's 1980 route, than your fantasy, even though this also would be unlikely. 2018 was a clear wake up call for the Repugs. They lost 6 of 6 state races in the 3 swing state (Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania) that Clownstick won by razor thin margins. That was before the Dotard's really bad handling of Covid-19, this recession, unemployment, stock reset...

Don the Con's game is old and tired, and the shine has dulled on the polished turd he sold 3 years ago to a lot of hopeful buyers...

Arguments from the pet center at the peanut gallery.

Biden is a leader, got his DNA all over legislation, on women's rights, black rights, union rights, healthcare, childcare, education, and most things constraining the military industrial complex, crime, and a bunch of other liberal and social issues.

Bills sponsored by Joe Biden

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/110 89 bills

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/109 41 bills

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/108 37 bills

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/107 46 bills

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/106 29 bills

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/105 17 bills

https://projects.propublica.org/repr...-sponsored/104 16 bills

That's 275 bills in all. Pretty active for a centrist I must say.

OK Know-nothings It's education time.

If you can't get something out of just the titles you are dumber than I believe you to be.

Oh, right. I forgot. You don't, won't, can't read.

Hey, low watt bulbs, what you are looking at is the most cursory - superficial- level of research.

Is anyone here attacking Biden's credentials?

It's a wonder the creep didn't sponsor a bill making pedophilia legal!

Who's this, the Trump or Creepy?.............................................Screen-Shot-2020-04-16-at-3.46.06-PM-e1587044801749.jpg

This is the same hypocritical party that's been harping on about the Russian hoax since the day Trump won back in 2016.

Only Trumpsuckers and idiots call it a hoax. Same goes for the pandemic.
Which are you?

It amazes me how these Australian conservotards are so cocky about knowing more about what goes on in America than Americans do. Meanwhile, they elect total fucking morons in their own country, while embracing ours.

At least they're consistent.
We in the US have a greater responsibility to not elect morons. Poland, Australia, or the UK electing morons is one thing, the US doing it has more international repercussions. Thankfully our Constitution was not written by morons and has worked to slow the spread of Moron-45.

You have Rupert Murdoch to thank for that. Everything FOX says is parroted by SKY News, Macquarie Radio and newspapers like The Australian and The Telegraph. Conservatives in Australia are pathetic as they are just cheap knockoffs of their American counterparts. They even accuse George Soros of masterminding left wing movements in Australia

The CA-25 district isn't a promise of a red wave...You are clueless, but maybe as you are from down under, you might not know much about this district.

I wouldn't be surprised (never heard of Poole), I just poked at the vid just enough to figure out it was CA-25 from which the fantasy story was built. FWIW a few more details on this red eddy...

The Repugs held this district from 1993 - 2018, when Katie Hill rode the real Blue Wave and took the seat. She resigned amid a personal scandal regarding her sex life and mixing sex and a subordinate worker, and was hit with revenge porn. Not all that shocking that a Repug took back the seat after that mess, with a new Dem trying to hold the seat. It is funny the sewage the alt-reality crowd tries to peddle...

That guy in the video is an idiot. That district was held by republicans for a very long time. Katie Hill taking that district was the fluke, not the republican winning the special election.

A Blueprint for Sanders and AOC to Take Over the Party? by Jonathan Chait
“When [Donald] Trump assumed the presidency after a 2016 election that Democrats should have won by a landslide …” writes John Nichols in his new book, “the crisis came into focus. It was not the Republican Party that was ruining our politics. Rather, the lack of a coherent and appealing opposition to the Republicans was the problem.”
That's a familiar argument, that the Democratic Party has strayed from FDR's New Deal and become corporatist and Republican Lite. There is a lot to be said for that argument, I think.

But JN, national correspondent for "The Nation", has written a book, "The Fight for the Soul of the Democratic Party", where he makes an odd argument: the Democratic Party departed from the New Deal when it rejected Henry Wallace back in 1944. He had been FDR's Secretary of Agriculture for two terms, then Vice President for one term.

JN argues in his book that HW was FDR's true successor, but author JC makes a good case that it was Harry Truman, despite HT being much more strongly anti-Soviet than FDR. HT attempted to continue the New Deal with national health insurance and public housing, but it was stymied by the Republicans. He also was good on civil rights: he ordered the desegregation of the armed forces.

HW was curiously sympathetic to the Soviet Union, even after that nation's takeover of Eastern Europe. That was a turn-off for most of the Democratic Party.

JC argues that Bernie Sanders is much like HW, and he makes an impressive case. But I doubt that BS has anything comparable to HW's sympathy with the Soviet Union.

Both HW and BS correctly recognized that white racism only served the interests of the corporate elite, by keeping that elite's opponents divided. But they both underestimated how much that many poor white people were willing to suffer as long as black people and Hispanics and the like suffered more than they did. Like what LBJ said: Did LBJ Advocate: 'Convince the Lowest White Man He's Better Than the Best Colored Man'?
We were in Tennessee. During the motorcade, he spotted some ugly racial epithets scrawled on signs. Late that night in the hotel, when the local dignitaries had finished the last bottles of bourbon and branch water and departed, he started talking about those signs. “I’ll tell you what’s at the bottom of it,” he said. “If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”

I don't agree. I think that the democratic party is switching it's base away from white blue collar union workers to professional, college educated urban cooperate moderates. This emerging group mostly lives in cities and is not as disbursed as the blue collar workers who have moved to the republican party (mostly due to guns and religion). This newer democratic base is very socially responsible (cares about the environment, wants a better safety net, wants better access to health care and education) but is also very worried about their personal economics. Democrats who lead with higher taxes and radical changes will struggle with this group.

Mr. Nichols was interviewed about that book on the Majority Report this past Thursday. I just listened to it yesterday. Fascinating bit of history. You can find it and listen here.

All Republicans that have ever held the WH since federation were all just flukes! The default residents of the WH are Democrat right!

This is even more incoherent than the usual bullshit you spew. The video *you* provided was that of right wing shill Tim Pool talking about California's 25th district. The is a district that has gone Republican 14 out of the last 15 elections and Tim Pool is trying to call it a "swing seat". Ziprhead correctly pointed out that only a fucking moron would call such a district a swing seat. Who the president was/is/will be has fuck all to do with it.

Although this does confirm something I've suspected for a while; not even you read or take seriously the incomprehensible bullshit you post. If you did, you would know what the video was about.
