Erase men from your lives: this week in feminism

Men are not emotionally stunted baboons.

The idea that I'm a "right wing authoritarian male" is so deranged it could only have come from a feminist. Fuck off with your misandry and join Coffin's feminist lesbian party. Along with her, you can attempt to minimise your interaction with men and die culturally enfeebled and impoverished.

Truth hurts, huh?

Try uttering something other than endless falsehoods and I'll let you know.

That's your game, son. Not mine.

I believe AF did not mean that all men were emotionally stunted baboons, nor did Toni necessarily call 40% of Americans morally bankrupt. Remember words have meaning. As far as I know, none of them ever called a poster with whom they disagree a "racist fuck".

Toni said "what in the racist fuck" after quoting me, after I pointed out that her endorsement of a two-parent family was normative whiteness. She appeared to be ignorant of this fact which I graciously enacted the labour to educate her on.

Now it's true she didn't call me a racist fuck, merely implied I said a racist thing. But I also felt obliged to point out to Toni that all white people are racist, so that she was, in fact, the racist fuck.

Unless, of course, Toni specifically disavows the notion that all white people are racist.

Do you, Toni?

I stand by my previous what the racist fuck statement in response to your post.

I've had a lot of years to learn to suppress my gag reflex and so am unmoved by your assertions.

Sure hun.

Feminism is a specific ideology which I believe to have a false foundation. If criticising a specific group of people is a sign of right-wing authoritarianism, then the universes of plethoras of anti-Republican, anti-Trump threads ought to qualify. The entire politics discussion forum is an endless kvetchery of anti-Republican, anti-Trump hatred, day after day.

If by the 'trans community' you mean some trans activists who sow a deranged and Orwellian ideology, and have worked and succeeded at shutting down free speech, who are directly responsible for the exponential rise in the treatment of gender nonconforming children (like I once was) as if they were trans, using the most appalling gender stereotypes that would embarrass even an actual right wing authoritarian, destroying women's single-sex spaces and sports, and subjecting children to drugs for which the long-term effects are unknown, then sure. I start threads opposing those aspects of trans ideology. Of course, the trans people I follow on Twitter are absolutely hated, shunned, and reviled by the left, because they don't toe the line.

and other movements, groups and communities using any strange or remote behavior that you find in a corner of the internet that you then apply as representative of the whole group in order, as you admit in the thread, to “bring them disrepute.”

Feminism ought be brought into disrepute. It is systematically harmful to men, women, and children. It breeds bad thinking, bad policy, and bad blood.

Yes, third-wave feminism is cancer.

What do you believe is the foundation of Feminism? And are you criticizing Feminism in general, or a specific variant like Fourth-wave feminism or Intersectional feminism?

But, even if it were true that I only posted about feminist lunacy, so what? Being anti-feminist is not being anti-woman. Indeed, it's deeply ironic that I have to answer that charge. Feminism's purchase on the culture is so deep that people believe 'anti-feminist' does equate to 'anti-woman'.

If you are against feminists, but not against other women, that leaves you only approving and supporting the rights of those women who don't think they have any rights.

Feminism is built on a false foundation and it wastes resources and tramples over free choice because of its false foundations.

For example, one false foundation is that, but for societal influence, girls and boys would have more or less equal interests, skills, abilities, and goals. That's a pillar of faith of feminism. And there isn't an iota of evidence to support it. In Sweden, they're trying to force interests on children who don't have them, in the name of gender equality. One feminist primary school teacher took away lego blocks for the boys, because the girls were not playing with them as much.

For fuck's sake, let children choose what they want for themselves. Stop trying to force things on them.

I completely agree with your last sentence though it doesn't relate to this discussion, but have to point out that your definition of "feminist" excludes all those who just think all people are equally entitled to a chance in the world.

If you are against feminists, but not against other women,

Um, what? Now only women can be feminists? So, sympathetic men are not feminists but 'male allies'?

I was told that feminism is about equality of the sexes. I didn't realise it excluded people by sex.

that leaves you only approving and supporting the rights of those women who don't think they have any rights.

What a strange conjecture from you. I support the rights of feminists as I support the rights of all people. Being 'against feminists' and feminism does not mean I would suppose to take away or try to take away anybody's rights. What rights do you imagine I want to take away from feminists?

I completely agree with your last sentence though it doesn't relate to this discussion, but have to point out that your definition of "feminist" excludes all those who just think all people are equally entitled to a chance in the world.

I agree that people should have a fair go in the world.

First, she wrote "what the racist fuck". For a pedant, you seem to have a real problem actually getting people's words right. Second, endorsement of a two-parent family is not normative whiteness - other races endorse the two parent family. So your observation is wrong. In fact, it could be viewed as "racist".
Now it's true she didn't call me a racist fuck, merely implied I said a racist thing. But I also felt obliged to point out to Toni that all white people are racist, so that she was, in fact, the racist fuck.
Using your historical posts as the standard, your unnecessary explanation of nastiness is unbelievable. I strongly suspect you would take umbrage at being called a "white racist fuck" even though, according to your explanation, you must be one.

My point is you have a real habit of such nastiness. And your explanation simply buttresses my point.

Sure hun. I'm the one who's handle was named after anger.

If I were really so angry, I would not put it in my handle. You're just pathetically throwing poop in any direction now.

I like the logic. I'ma change my handle to Right Wing Authoritarian, which proves I'm not one.

Whoosh! Not surprising that would go over your head, or that you would pretend it does. Either way, it's a stupid response.

Dodge.

Assertion not supported by evidence.

There's really no point in discussing this with Metaphor. He violated TOU and resorted to name calling and that is really not worth the effort to point it out to him or try to convince him of anything. It only wins him attention and that's all he's after anyway.

One feminist primary school teacher took away lego blocks for the boys, because the girls were not playing with them as much.
According to this report - https://www.huffpost.com/entry/karen-keller-bans-boys-legos_n_564f5009e4b0879a5b0abc9e the school says something different:
Following the release of a recent news article, the Bainbridge Island School District (BISD) has received inquiries that reflect inaccurate perceptions about student access to Legos in Karen Keller’s kindergarten classroom at Blakely Elementary School.

In keeping with a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education grant, Ms. Keller gave girls a designated time to play with the building toys during a 30-minute 'free-choice' time block in September 2015. This isolated, short-term practice ended in October. All students in all classrooms have and will continue to have access to all instructional and noninstructional materials.

The paper you linked does stand by its story.

For fuck's sake, let children choose what they want for themselves. Stop trying to force things on them.
How far does that principle go? If a child only chooses to eat sugar, is that all the child eats? If a child chooses to only draw pictures in school, the teacher should not try to teah that child reading or numbers or anything else?

Pointing out a racist statement is different than calling someone a racist. I would think this is something a moderator should understand.

In my view, purely as a co-member of this forum, it nonetheless alleged (I would not say 'pointed out') racism on the part of another individual poster.

I'm happy to leave it there. I will not be discussing moderating here.
