Flying Palace

On second thought, use it as Air Force 1 without any of the security modifications
So ya gonna let the Qataris keep the destruct button?
that's what they get in exchange for the 747. they have their useful idiot already and all they have to do is talk to him like he's a king to get him to do whatever they want. this i just a little extra insurance to keep the family in line.

Not a Drump lover, but Hunter Biden was offering his expertise in oil industry to Ukrainian oil company. You defended that just fine.
The claim was 5 million and no proof was offered.

This is 400 million and Trump provided all the proof needed.
Are you suggesting that Hunter Biden was NOT on the board of Burisma?
Hunter Biden was never POTUS.

Are you suggesting that the Trump children are not peddling influence and profiting from their father’s position as POTUS while he is POTUS? Because he is POTUS?
Occasionally I find myself wishing for a law that literally just said "clear evidence of crimes and hypocrisy of enforcement is exculpatory in political assassinations".
Basically, you want corruption, got it.

You seriously believe that?
It is going to his presidential library. That's keeping it. There is only one aircraft that served as AF1 in a presidential library (Reagan) and it wasn't presented until AFTER he died and AFTER it was retired. And it was not a gift to him from a foreign country. Maybe when they decommission his curent 747 they might donate it to his library, but then it wouldn't be as royal.

speaking of the Trump library...I have an idea it will be little more than a bank of cell phones with a bunch of tweets displayed. And a 747.

Ok, so, I imagine my post was something of a Rorschach test:

If you read it and interpret it one way, it reveals you as someone who strongly believes that when the system is corrupt and fails to enforce laws, this law gives people the right to kill or stop the corrupt when it is right.

Then I suppose there is another reading which the corrupt interpret as "exculpatory" for those who use political assassination to cover their hypocrisy and crimes. Imagining this law might protect such people reveals something rather the inverse of the other interpretation, someone who seeks first, for some reason, to give such benefit to corruption.

I'm so glad you took this test and that the world can see your "score".

Why would library need a functional plane?
This is Donald Trump's Presidential Library.

They can't restrict it to just books the President has read, because a library with five books, each with eight very thick pages and a total of sixteen words, would (despite the brightly coloured illustrations, which include both a puppy and a fluffy duckling) be a laughingstock.

Fortunately, having addressed the very same problem during the tenure of George Bush Jr., the administration has already prepared a solution; They call it a library, but actually it's more of a museum.

Sort of a "National Museum of Shit People Bribed the President With".

I made a similar wish 2 weeks before the catastrophe last November 5th.
One reason Trump is likely to win is the huge amount of cheating the Republicans do. One of many many examples is Elon Musk's illegal million-dollar lottery to encourage Trump voters to register. This is a violation of federal law punishable by five years in prison.

But there's no chance that Musk or any criminal billionaire will ever serve time in prison. Even if they have no real defense, they can deploy battalions of lawyers to postpone, postpone, postpone. (Were I to become dictator I think I would establish something like England's  Star Chamber.)

China has imposed the death penalty with minimal ado in response to billionaires' corruptions. I am losing respect for the meme that USA is the "good" alternative to "evil" regimes. The high approval for Luigi Mangione's assassination of the UHC CEO shows that many Americans have also reached a high level of disgust.

Steal BILLIONS? Get a tax break and afford a super-yacht. Sell Loosies on Staten Island? Death by police.

Unfortunately any "Star Chamber" in post-rational Amerika would be operated by the fascists. In fact, that's more-or-less where we already are.
Actually we're worse off; instead of England's Star Chamber operated by privy counsellors, we got Elon Musk's merry band of teen-age autists.

Oh come on, I'm autistic. This has less to do with autism and more to do with how the education system and Affluenza has failed all of them.

That's not gonna fly :)
Our Republican congress is so afraid of this man that it is very likely they will approve whatever he wants, regardless of how much it costs

No insult intended. I'm an idiot-savant myself; and many of my blood kin are somewhere "on the spectrum." Once upon a time I was the go-to guy for digital designs and troubleshooting. But I was never the right guy for personnel management and neither was Musk nor his merry band of teeny-boppers.

Are you saying that their particular brand of autism renders them more vulnerable to affluenza than are “normals”?
I doubt it. More likely, autism is a feature that lets them develop frameworks of justification that would be unavailable to “normals”, making them perfect executors for Leon’s evil greedy plans.

THAT I can agree with 100%.

It's just that currently, the admin, for all its [heavy on the idiot, light on the savant], I think they're actively targeting [heavy on the savant, light on the idiot], because for some reason people have a really hard time seeing the difference for some reason that I just cannot fathom.

At any rate I reiterate my previous position that got me into this thread.

I think flaunting consequences, such as claiming that you could commit murder in the street and nobody would stop you, to express that it is not someone's right to walk down the street unmurdered, nor to have their murderer see consequences which prevent this from being an occurrence, that they have declared this right only non-existent for themselves.

As to Affluenza, that impacts everyone equally and negatively.

The real special threat to the well-being and social function of autistic people in particular is rather the "failure of the education system" part.

Autistic people have different educational needs and getting autistic people spun up on empathy is hard, especially on the more "idiot heavy" side of the scale.

Autistic people have different educational needs
I can relate to that, but…
and getting autistic people spun up on empathy is hard,
… not that.
I had to kill a mouse last evening and it’s still bothering me a lot today.
Maybe my spectrum card needs revoked, and an ADHD card issued in its place?

That and I think that some autistic people feel very much ‘other’ and judged and not accepted. While some may not be conscious of anger ( don’t we all have some degree of repressed anger??) I think that in part that helps explain why some very high functioning autistic people feel driven to create a world that they feel comfortable in. Those of us who don’t go along are just poor deluded dumb suckers. And we deserve what we get even if we are too dumb to recognize the superiority of that way. They are fine with us being ‘othered.’

I think that in the case of Leon, sociopathy is a much better explanation than autism. I doubt that he’s autistic, actually. I think he’s just a sociopath with rich parents who never learned that other people count.

Smarter than Trump but essentially with some of the same mental illness.

As hard as this may be to understand, I will and do mourn for things wildly different from me, but some things are very frustrating for me.

There are holes.

Autistic people just often put themselves in the position of whatever the other thing is. It's easy to feel bad for killing a mouse if it is like killing yourself.

It's less easy to feel bad for someone who takes offense at some absence of social grace when you don't understand that social grace was a factor in the interaction.

Its a rather complicated issue where someone might fully accept the value and emotions of another person as far as they are understood, and yet act like an absolute alien at the same time because they just aren't "spun up" on why some behavior they aren't aware of "matters".

According to Forbes that 747 is a big white elephant that they have been trying to unload for a while.
No one wants it!! BUT tRump.
