Fraud in Minnesomalia

I just wanted to add some info that I didn’t have before: The person who was executive director of Feeding Our Future in the Minnesota fraud case is a white woman.

She and her co-conspirator were convicted in March of this year.

Her co conspirator just happens to be her Somali boyfriend .
He wasn’t her boyfriend.
Right wingers love to just make shit up.

There is a whole, separate thread about the Minnesota fraud. Why are we posting about that in this thread?
You’re correct. My fault. I meant to post in the Minnesota fraud thread but must have had two threads open.

My apologies. If mods think it is important and not too much trouble, maybe the posts could be moved to the appropriate thread?

Again, apologies.
No need to apologize so profusely. Its not like you ran over my kitty or anything. ;)

Most of the apology was for the mods for whom I accidentally made some extra work.

You should keep your cat inside for its own wellbeing.

I was thinking of Bock's live in Somali boyfriend, Empress Malcolm Watson Jr who was charged with other frauds.

More Somali fraud, this time in Maine.
Maine lawmaker is calling for an investigation into the director of a health services company accused of defrauding the state’s Medicaid program while running for office in Somalia. Abdullahi Ali, in an interview with Kenyan media, openly discussed contributing money back to Somalia and paramilitary forces. In the interview, first reported by The Maine Wire in March, said: “When I was away and abroad, the financial contributions I was sending back were being used to support the forces for buying bullets, ammunition and food,” Ali posted to his own presidential media page.

Oh gosh, now “Somali fraud” is becoming a meme.

The biggest fraudster of all is in the Oval Office. And I guess that indicts all white men in America as fraudsters.

With all due respect, skin color and gender seem to matter a great deal to you.
Wrong. I think people should be treated equally by law regardless of race and gender.

My point is culture. Somalia has a largely Islamist culture, which means that most Somalis are incompatible with western culture. And yet, our country indiscriminately let a lot of Somalis in.
Or look at Islamists who have taken over cities like Hamtramck and Dearborn in Michigan.
How many cities can people who identify as Muslim take over, when they make up about 1.1% of the US population? Some research suggests that they make up almost 3% but according to the link I'll add, those are not as accurate.

https://factually.co/fact-checks/society/percentage-muslims-united-states-7e0469

The share of Muslims in the United States is small but varies by source and methodology: most recent analyses place the figure around 1.0–1.1 percent of the U.S. population today, while alternative estimates and some counts yield higher figures up to about 3 percentdepending on definitions and datasets; long‑term projections foresee growth to roughly 2.1 percent by 2050. The differences reflect disparate data sources—large national surveys, religion censuses, population estimates, and projection models—and the headline takeaway is that estimates cluster near one percent now but diverge based on methods and timeframes [1] [2] [3]

It's the conservative White Christian Nationalists that are a potential threat, not the tiny percentage of Muslims. Plus, the few Muslims I've met were very liberal, decent people, so why do you denigrate them as if they were all dangerous people who want to take over areas of the country? That is as stupid as an acquaintance of mine who thinks Muslims are going to destroy our "Christian nation". Yes. She's a white conservative Christian who still supports the most dangerous, mentally deranged president we've ever had, who is also a convicted criminal.

Earth to Derec. There are both liberal versions and extremist versions in all religions.

Apparently, CEO of MyPillow, fascist collaborator, and retired crack addict Mike Lindell is going to run for governor of Minnesota.

So, now, we can see why this story directed at Walz has developed.
