GOP post mortem

[Don2 (Don1 Revised)]

Mike Johnson has said he will not seek the minority leadership position in the next congress.

In his defense, he is very busy with his son, both trying not to masturbate to porn.

[Jimmy Higgins]

Popcorn time.

Scalise says the GOP needs change... so he is running for Minority Leader. He used to be in the House leadership slots for the GOP, so this is clearly "change". Jordan is apparently running for it too. The Shit Show begins!

SoD Hegseth is about to be fired.

Trump said that he was not considering replacing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. “I think he’s doing a very good job,” he said.

VP Vance is doing his best to split himself from the Administration he is in. Of course, he did it in a social media posting and not an interview because questions be hard to answer.

In a more than 600-word post on social media, Mr. Vance also offered a broader critique of the Trump administration’s agenda and messaging in what appeared to be an effort to separate himself from the president.

...
“Everyone knows why we lost,” Mr. Vance wrote. “And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.”

Your star is no longer in accension Vance.

Mike Johnson said he is going to open a lawn care business in Shreveport. With the Democrats in control, he may be able to find employees.

Maybe 4-Seasons Total Landscaping will give him an apprenticeship.

I am a Texan and aren't all of you proud of Texas going blue last night?

I am a Texan and aren't all of you proud of Texas going blue last night?

I lived in Texas in the early 70s when it was fairly blue, so it's great to see it going back in that direction. Most states aren't static when it comes to politics, so it was about time for Texas to turn around. Now Georgia is as blue as it's been in the more than 30 years that I've lived here. Hopefully, this election has saved the SCS among other things.

Don't forget Ohio. Our legislature still blows, but just maybe we don't have to stay Neanderthal red forever. Maybe we're already purple.

, I miss Mark White and Ann Richards. Richards I did not like so much but still voted for her against that idiot Bush But I would take Ann anyday over the Republicans.

I live in Corsicana and its a weird place It usually votes red but most people here are liberal on economic issues and conservative on moral issues. The county country people are whack job red. Corsicana even elected a Socialist Party member mayor a long time ago.
