Back in the 70s and 80s people listened to international short wave radio. The BBC.

I listened to China, Russia and other communist states. French, British radio reporting. Barbos and Putin both sound just like the old Soviet propaganda machine.

I remember Vladimir Pozner. He was a major Soviet spinner, apologist,and soft seller.

If you wat to understand what the Cold War was about look at Putin and Barbos.

Instead, India wins the honor of the first landing in the unexplored south polar region. Its rover will now send us back information that may be vital to a future manned installation on the moon. There is actual video of the plane falling from the sky. The plane appears to be pretty much intact with smoke trailing from it.

It doesn't look like a plane that was shot down but I'm far from an expert.
