How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

If the UK or Poland were to invade and attempt to annex a neighbouring country
Well, Poland did.
And UK itself does not have much in terms of neighbouring countries. But they did have India and shitload other possessions at the time.

My entire point was that the way Putin is acting today is a century out of date. Imperialism was normal before WWI,
No, you mentioned Molotov-Ribbentrop. To which I reminded that Poland had a pact with Germany just before that and GB/France as well. You all had pacts with Hitler before that and Stalin was not happy about that.

Now, you keep repeating BS about Putin's imperialism. But that's just convenient Mantra West use to cover their imperialism. Russia is defending itself against it, nothing more, YOU ARE the real imperialists. You came and occupied Ukraine which is historically and culturally Russia. Of course you don't really care about Ukraine, it's just a tool to get the rest of Russia.
That's why it is important for Russia to stop it.

Well, I picked it.
Yes, I am wasting my breath here, as this post will just prompt another "I'm rubber, you're glue" level of strategic analysis, worthy of an eight year old boy who has been caught bullying his younger sister.

I am not really laughing at all this given the suffering Putin has rained on Ukraine in an unprovoked war.

Not just Ukraine, all the dead and crippled Russian men who are sent to fight.

It was supposed to be over in a month or so, and Putin is still trying to take over Ukraine. One young Russian after another killed or maimed.

Only a sociopath-psychopath devoid of feeling and empathy could continue to keep the war going.

Stalin, Mao, and Hitler. Kim Jong Un in North Korea.

The only thing Putin can do to stay in power is lie to Russians and innvent conspiracies.

Studies show psychopaths usually speak in a controlled manner. They don't emphasize emotional words like other people do. Their tone remains fairly neutral throughout the conversation. There are and there were no American or Nato troops in Ukraine. We did not "occupy" it or create the coup that ousted the corrupt Yankovich. He was legally kicked out of office by the Ukranian legislature by a vote of 350 to 0. This is fact. Are you trying to allege that the Ukranian legislatures were all American plants?

Secondly, you always allege that we hate Russia and are out to "get your country". Why do you believe this? The US would love to have Russia return to normal so that we can trade with your country. There is no reason for there to be so much hatred between our countries. However, our country is against imperialism, and we don't want a wider war in Eastern Europe. War is bad for everyone. It's a tragedy. Thousands of people die almost every day in Ukraine because your soldiers are there. Return home, the deaths stop. It's that simple.

There are and there were no American or Nato troops in Ukraine.
That's obviously false, because there were NATO troops in Ukraine after 2014
But you did occupy Ukraine without actual military invasion through money and corruption.

Secondly, you always allege that we hate Russia and are out to "get your country". Why do you believe this?
Because your documents show exactly that.

So, few facts about new head of Ukro-Wehrmacht Syskiy.
1. He is actually a russian, has a family in Russia - father, mother, brother are in Russia.
2. Educated in Russia, school and military.
3. Moved/was stationed to Ukraine before USSR collapse.
4. His nickname is Butcher of Bakhmut. (because he did not care about ukrainian losses)
5. Not very popular among ukro-army. (because of 4.)

No, they die because you are supporting criminal regime in Kiev.
Negative. We haven't sent weapons in Ukraine in many months due to the republican house. And yet the fighting continues. The Ukranians have no choice. Their backs are against the wall. If they are starved of weapons, they'll just continue. But the war would be over tomorrow if Russian troops go home. There were reportedly 1,000 Russian troops killed yesterday. In one day. Due you not care for your own soldiers? Those are your people dying. And for what?

Speaks with beautiful accuracy about Russian education, its military and its ethics.
What a shithole.

Barbos, if all Russian soldiers and their equipment went home to Russia tomorrow, how would life in Russia change?

Yes, he was. He failed miserably in Bakhmut. And Kiev was not really under attack.

Well, russian public wants SMO goals to be reached. Going home means Putin is finished and all his administration finished as well.
US puppet get installed and hello 90s. If not, then new and improved Putin 2.0 comes to power and Ukraine is royally fucked.
Russian public and government are more less united on this one. And Putin can not go against public opinion.

You are assuming barbos can understand and appreciate your question? He cannot. He has demonstrated as much ad nauseum. But I think it is a good question that will get the standard answer.

Adolph Putler made the same mistake his German hero did when his fellow Nazi invaded Russia decades ago. Just kick in the door and the country will fall. When the country doesn't fall just double down on the propaganda and keep expending lives and resources to protect yourself from accountability. Your sycophant followers will support you every step of the way.

Biden Arms Greece So Greece Arms Ukraine. Republicans Can’t Stop It. - Jan 30, 2024, 09:45pm EST - "‘Excess defense articles’ is a powerful authority"
As the Republican Party’s blockade of aid to Ukraine drags into its fourth month, the U.S. government under Pres. Joe Biden has found a clever new way to give Ukraine’s forces the weapons and ammunition they need to defend their country.

It is, in essence, an American version of Germany’s circular weapons trade—the so-called Ringtausch. The United States is gifting older surplus weapons to Greece with the understanding that Greece donates to Ukraine some of its own surplus weapons.
Here’s How Ukraine Could Get Another Two Dozen Leopard 2 Tanks - Nov 23, 2023, 02:04am EST - "Switzerland, Germany, Poland and a circular transfer of tanks"
In six months of hard fighting as part of their long-planned southern counteroffensive, Ukrainian brigades have lost at least a dozen of the 71 German-designed Leopard 2 tanks Ukraine so far has received from its foreign allies.

But now it’s looking likelier Ukraine will more than make good its Leopard 2 losses in 2024. It actually stands a decent chance of significantly growing the fleet. All thanks to Swiss meticulousness, and some patient diplomacy by German officials in Switzerland.

IOW: continuous war with Ukraine is what your side wants. Zelensky was elected with 73% of the vote in a contested election. He's not a US puppet.

Zelensky was elected with 73% of the vote in a contested election.
Trump was "elected" with 46% of the vote, thanks to Russian trolls and 'bots.
He's not a US puppet.
Whereas, Trump is absolutely a Russian puppet. Babs should quit complaining about puppets. They seem to haunt him, even though they're all on his side.
