What northern front?U.S. soldiers act as a sort of insurance. Whether there are 100 or 500 U.S. soldiers is completely irrelevant, because if any violent conflict occurs and U.S. soldiers are injured or killed, there will be a huge uproar in the U.S. The media will shout, "Our boys are..." and after that, no U.S. politician will dare oppose sending weapons to the northern front.
1996-2003where exactly and when?I lived in Russia for six years

I am sorry to break it to you, but the plan is for you to pay to your tax euros LM and Boeing for their expensive toys.
And they are not going to protect you from Russia if shit hits the fan. Meanwhile you lost trade with Russia.
So less money earned, more money sent to fat MIC cats in US. Dancing queen Sana Marin did a great job in Finland.
Do you know where she is now? And do you know why is she there?
Less food in the shops => higher food prices. Also consumption stuff that is not produced in China - not available (except in Moscow and St Petersburg, because there are people that can pay any price for anything.)How?The sanctions hit the poorest half of the population hardest - now and the next XX-years.

I did protest war in Iraq. We are not fighting in Ukraine. There's no doubt in my mind that if we weren't helping Ukraine with arms that far far more Ukrainians would be dead today. And the war would have spread. I do not think that Utin only wants Donbas and Crimea. You do not either. If we asked Ukraine to stop fighting back they would lose more land and people. You know it and I know it.I don't see you protesting against US war in Ukraine. Did not see you at any anti-war protests for that matter, not in Yugoslavia, not in Iraq, not in Libya, not in Syria.that's what Elensky wants. I want the whole shebang including Western Ukraine.Oh, that is right, I forgot Russia was only trying to Annex smalls part of Ukraine.Well, Elensky is talking about "territories in exchange for peace" referendum.Well, they sure the heck haven't won yet.
Also, I would like to restore Russian borders as they were in 1916. So our finish and polish, for that matter, friends might start moderating their trash talk.
Oh, I'm sure that Utin wants the same thing. Or more. BTW: I'm sure that it's easy for you to be so pro-war when you are too old to serve and don't have any kids who live in Russia and could be drafted. As a father of three teenagers, my perspective has changed regarding war...
Iraq? Seriously? Was it that long ago, you can't remember the protests? Though some supported it, for dubious reasons like WMDs... just like you support Ukraine invasion for dubious reasons of "Nazis".I don't see you protesting against US war in Ukraine. Ad the other one.The RAND Corporation is an American nonprofit global policy think tank,[1] research institute, and public sector consulting firm. RAND Corporation engages in research and development (R&D) in a number of fields and industries. Since the 1950s, RAND research has helped inform United States policy decisions on a wide variety of issues, including the space race, the Vietnam War, the U.S.-Soviet nuclear arms confrontation, the creation of the Great Society social welfare programs, and national health care.
The RAND Corporation originated as "Project RAND" (from the phrase "research and development") in the postwar period immediately after World War II.[8][9] The United States Army Air Forces established Project RAND with the objective of investigating long-range planning of future weapons.[10] Douglas Aircraft Company was granted a contract to research intercontinental warfare.[10] Project RAND later evolved into the RAND Corporation, and expanded its research into civilian fields such as education and international affairs.[11] It was the first think tank to be regularly referred to as a "think tank.
RAND receives both public and private funding. Its funding sources include the U.S. government, private endowments,<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAND_Corporation#cite_note-RANDAnnualReport-12">[12]</a> corporations,<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAND_Corporation#cite_note-RANDfunding-13">[13]</a> universities,<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAND_Corporation#cite_note-RANDfunding-13">[13]</a> charitable foundations, U.S. state and local governments, international organizations, and to a small extent, foreign governments.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAND_Corporation#cite_note-RANDfunding-13">[13]</a><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAND_Corporation#cite_note-:0-14">[14]</a>
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is a research and development agency of the United States Department of Defense responsible for the development of emerging technologies for use by the military.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-3">[3]</a><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-4">[4]</a>
Originally known as the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), the agency was created on February 7, 1958, by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in response to the Soviet launching of Sputnik 1 in 1957. By collaborating with academia, industry, and government partners, DARPA formulates and executes research and development projects to expand the frontiers of technology and science, often beyond immediate U.S. military requirements.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-Commission2008-5">[5]</a> The name of the organization first changed from its founding name, ARPA, to DARPA, in March 1972, changing back to ARPA in February 1993, then reverted to DARPA in March 1996.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-6">[6]</a>
The Economist has called DARPA the agency that shaped the modern world, with technologies like "weather satellites, GPS, drones, stealth technology, voice interfaces, the personal computer and the internet on the list of innovations for which DARPA can claim at least partial credit."<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-Economist-7">[7]</a> Its track record of success has inspired governments around the world to launch similar research and development agencies.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-Economist-7">[7]</a>
DARPA is independent of other military research and development and reports directly to senior Department of Defense management. DARPA comprises approximately 220 government employees in six technical offices, including nearly 100 program managers, who together oversee about 250 research and development programs.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-8">[8]</a> The agency's current director, appointed in March 2021, is Stefanie Tompkins.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA#cite_note-9">[9]</a>
