How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

In other completely related news, Putin played Trump like a fiddle on their first sit-down meeting.

The Art of the Deal?

The meeting — which took place three years after Russian forces invaded the Crimean peninsula — was “an opening” for Putin to begin exploiting Trump’s “escalating political grudge” against Ukraine in a bid to weaken US support for the country, officials who were privy to the exchange have shared with the newspaper.

Trump had only been in office for seven months when the pair met. Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson attended the meeting, which was “a masterclass” by Putin to mold the relatively new president’s approach to Ukraine, according to The Times.

If Trump wins next month, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he offers to give Alaska back to Russia after a few meetings with his buddy Vlad. "Don, Alaska has always been part of Russia. We made bad deal, and if you want, you can have Trump Tower Moscow in exchange!"

If it enriches the Orange it's on the table.

About nazis.

There are significantly more Nazis in Russia than in Ukraine ever been. In fact, Russia's leadership have learned everything from the Nazis. Nazis are easy to recognise by their actions: they carry out ethnic cleansing, steal children from other countries and distribute them to "suitable families." For them, all "infidels"—those who do not fit into their Nazi ideology—are outcasts.

They also kill neighbouring peoples using their own minority groups in the army, thus getting rid of their own minorities as well. They engage in absurd propaganda and brainwash their citizens. Children are raised from a young age to be soldiers for future wars, just like in the 1930s and 1940s.

Among their own people, there is a significant number who have seen the truth from the start, but if they express their thoughts in any way, they are sent to camps, prisons, or simply killed.

During their wars, they destroy everything. They don’t even respect civilian rights and disregard international law.
They accuse the countries they have attacked of the very crimes they themselves commit daily.
In the areas they occupy, they immediately begin purges, establish torture centres, and kill people they suspect of being opponents.

They begin with small wars against small nations. After that against bigger nations - until they choke. In the end, they always lose the wars they have started.

This description fits the Russian ruling elite perfectly.
Eventually, the entire nation will realise how they’ve been deceived, how they’ve been lied to on every level.
And they will have to suffer all the consequences.

Barbos!!! This Rus-Nazi description was for you to comment!

Um...if past experience is any indication, there's no "eventually" about it with Barbos. It could be decades hence with him wandering around the empty hallways of a modern Spandau prison and he'll still be insisting that everything was caused by "Ukro-Nazis."

Do they have to be hyphenated into perpetuity? Can’t we call them Ukrazis or something?

your fucking ukro-nazi

Who, exactly, are you referencing when you use this phrase? Can you please be specific for the sake of comunication instead of self-derailing to engage in nonsense name-calling?

I can’t even tell if you mean singular or plural.
Azov.

Gotcha! I understand now. Last I heard, Azov comprised about 900 guys. There are more nazis in Eureka, Kansas than that! Don't let that small of a group scare you so much.
No, Azov is much bigger than that and they are not the only one nazi regiment in "Ukraine"
Speaking of ukro-nazis. FT in recent article suddenly started talking about how they are the problem for Elensky.
I thought there were no nazis in Ukraine?
Who said that? There are Nazis in every country in the world. Tons of Nazis in Russia. I'm sure that Utin would agree. Why are you so scared about a tiny minority of bigots that have no power?
Well, according to FT, nazis DO have power in Ukraine.
What is FT? I assume that you know (and it's been stated over and over) that President Z is Jewish.
Financial Times.

I think the right word would be Russo-Nazi.

Thought here. "Ukro-Nazis" exist. The Russian forces in Ukraine.

Can explain why Utin and his cronies absolutely hate England? I mean, they hate everyone who dosn't embrace their imperialism goals. But they seem to have a particular hatred of the English. What is driving that?

I think he's just licking Adolph's balls boots. Better that than falling out a window.

The origins of the Russian people can be traced to a complex mixture of ethnic groups and cultures that inhabited the region now known as Russia over several millennia. ...
I myself have posted on some of that history in earlier posts in this thread. I find it amusing that Prince Vladimir of Kiev's entourage settled on Christianity rather than Islam because of allowing the consumption of CH3CH2OH. Judaism seemed jinxed because Jews were living in scattered enclaves without their own nation.

FInno-Ugric? That's all of Uralic but Samoyedic, spoken by some people in north central Siberia. Distantly related to Uralic is Yukaghir, spoken by some people in eastern Siberia.

YBP: years before the present (2000 CE)
  • Russia and Ukraine were too cold for the Neanderthals, that almost-present-human species.
  • 40,000 YBP: the first of our species to arrive: the Aurignacian people.
  • 25,000 YBP: makers of mammoth-bone huts (most Paleolithic people didn't live in caves, but in usually-perishable huts and tents)
  • 7,500 BP (5500 BCE): Cucuteni-Trypillian farmers arrive in W Ukraine, and they build cities with as much as 3,000 structures and 20,000 - 40,000 people
  • 6,000 BP (4000 BCE): Some people in E Ukraine and nearby Eur Russia domesticate the horse, and they spoke early Proto-Indo-European dialects. Some of them move into Anatolia
  • 5,000 BP (3000 BCE) The Yamnaya horse tamers spread outward into northern Europe (Corded Ware: Celtic, Italic, Germanic, Balto-Slavic, Indo-Iranian), the Balkans (Albanian, Greek, Armenian), Central Asia (Tocharians)
  • 4,000 BP (2000 BCE) some eastern Corded Ware people move further east as Fatyanovo people, then east of the Ural Mountains near the Aral Sea as the Sintashta people (Indo-Iranian). These people the invent chariots and spread southward to India, and southwestward to Iran and Kazakhstan and S Eur Russia (Sarmatians) and Ukraine (Scythians)
  • 2,500 BP (500 BCE) Greeks colonize the Black Sea coast. Odesa is named after one of these colonies
  • 1,500 BP (500 CE) Lots of wandering: Goths go from northern Europe to Bulgaria, Romania, and the Crimea, Huns go from central Asia into eastern Europe, Slavs spread outward from their Poland-Ukraine-Belarus homeland
  • 1,100 BP (900 CE): Kievan Rus formed
  • 1,000 BP (1000 CE) Christianity made official religion, Turkic tribes arrive from Central Asia, Magyars pass through from the northern Ural Mountains and settle in Central Europe (Hungary).
  • 760 - 520 CE (1240 - 1480 CE) Rule by the Mongols: the Tatar Yoke
  • 500 BP (1500 CE) Rise of Moscow
  • 400 BP (1600 CE) The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth rules W Ukraine
  • 250 BP (1750 CE) Russia conquers Ukraine
  • 200 BP (1800 CE) Russia annexes eastern Poland
  • 80 BP (1920 CE) The Soviet Union emerges, but the westernmost Russian Empire is independent: Poland, Baltics, Finland
  • 55 BP (1945 CE) The Soviet Union builds an Eastern European empire after helping defeat Nazi Germany
  • 10 BP (1990 CE) the Soviet Union breaks up, along with its Eastern European empire

We don't hate England. It's England who hates Russia and constantly invade us.
And this England's obsession with destroying Russia started with their theory that Russia was going to invade their precious colony called India.
