That's not how integrated air defence works.

How would a Russian putinista know anything about actual integrated air defense?

From the reporting the concern for us is that NK troops will get battlefield experience.

What you are missing is that knowing the plane is out there isn't the same thing as knowing enough about where it is to guide a missile to it. Missiles have some pretty small antennas and limited power for their systems.

Russia seized Crimea then invaded Ukraine, foolishly it has turned out.

Ukraine was and is an internationally recognized free independent state. What Ukraine does within its birders and its international relations are not the bossiness of Russia.

Putin threatened Finland when it applied for NATO membership. The more I think about t the more Putin appears irrational and mentally unstable. Not recently, threatened the use of nuclear weapons. Out of touch with reality, he thinks he can command states to do his bidding.

With Finland in NATO Russia has a new NATO 820 mile border. Add Sweden along with the other NATO states and short of nuclear war Russia has no chance of winning a war with NATO.

In WWII Canada and the USA supplied Russia over the North Atlantic. Many lives were lost. Stalin acknowledged the importance and post war paid compensation.

As with Germany and Japan in WWII, Russia can not compete economically in war against the combined economies of the western allies.

NK and Iran are insignificant. A question would be whether or not China would risk its economy by siidng with Russia in a war aganst NATO. As I said before I think China is appearng to align with Russia today because it serves its politics in opoosing the west and the USA. I dount China will actualy take serious risks to support Russia in a NTO war.
