In fact, EU admitted, we (mostly US) did it.
The idea that the EU could even describe the US as "we" is directly self-contradicting.
You may have decided to abandon such trivia as "consistency", "logic" and "reasoning" as means to test claims for truth-value, but the rest of the people here haven't, so when you contradict yourself, you just come across as a propaganda-spewing clown with no interest in reality.
I am in two minds as to whether this is due to your complete abandonment of your higher brain function in favour of toadying to Mad Vlad Putin; Or whether it's a clever way to protect yourself from punishment for opposing Mad Vlad's narrative, by subtly undermining your own message.
During WWII, the British classified propaganda into three categories:
White propaganda is "honest". It may tell
lies about what is happening, but it doesn't conceal who is speaking. You might listen to Lord Haw-Haw, but when you do, you know you are hearing the Germans speaking, and when you catch him in a lie, you know that the enemy is lying to you.
Black propaganda is "dishonest". It pretends to be an official source, but is actually coming from the enemy. The British did this by broadcasting in German on the Radio Station Deutschland frequency, when the official transmitters were off air, in the hope that Germans would hear their broadcasts and believe that it was the official news from the Nazi government.
Grey propaganda sits between these two; Listeners are kept deliberately uncertain of where the information originates.
A particularly effective "grey" technique is the use of feigned incompetence to undermine official sources, by those broadcasting under duress. By toeing the official line, the broadcaster is able to maintain his status with his handlers; But at the same time he can support the cause he
actually believes in, by making that official line appear absurd.
Of course, this latter technique is most effective when the official line
really is absurd.
