How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Volunteer Drone Operators Wanted
In Russia's Unmanned Systems Troops
  • 12 months of service (includes training time)
  • Safe away from the front lines
  • Gain valuable technical skills
  • Bonus of up to 5 million roubles
  • Go as a patriot and return as a hero
Betcha any patriotic Russian can volunteer. Anyone at all. Regardless of age. Anyone.

From what I've read, this is a scam. When you show up they give you a gun and you are sent to the front lines to die.
No, that cannot be true. Barbos assures us otherwise.

Speaking of lying. It was determined that ukro-regime in its recent drone attacks on Moscow used drones armed with ...... extra fuel. Fucking clowns know damn well that damage they cause is pretty inconsequential, but if they load it with fuel, resulting propaganda footage looks much better.
Long range drones have fuel. And any weapon that burns fuel as it goes but doesn't go to it's maximum range will have leftover fuel when it hits. The reality is explosives tend to not look like very much when they go boom, but fuel does. Hollywood "bombs" are a little bit of explosive and a lot of gasoline. Thus I would expect the biggest visible effect from a drone being the remaining fuel going up. (Assuming it doesn't hit something that itself goes up.)
You don't listen, do you?
Your nazis literally loaded their droned with fuel in order to create illusion of a bigger explosion.
Read what I said!

Of course the most visible effect of shooting down a drone is the fuel going up.

What I'm asking is why would you expect any other outcome from hitting a liquid-fueled aircraft?
You don't listen, do you?

LOL, British Parliament declared war on "Masha and the Bear"
I went on looked up Hansard (records of UK parliament) and could not find in either House of Parliament a mention of Mash or Bear or war?
Are we talking about the same British Parliament?
Yes, we are. And yes google returns all the info regarding british declaring war on Masha and the Bear.

Russia destroying NATO equipment in Ukraine:

Really now, you want me to believe a bunch of Ukranian tanks bunched up like that after all this time?!

You don't bunch up when facing artillery, period. And you don't get close enough to a friendly unit to be killed by the same iron bomb. (And your glide bombs are iron bombs with wings.)

Dude, it's a video, not a picture.

But again, it did not need to be made bigger.
And tanks are usually not filled to 100% they are filled enough to go the required distance.
Nope. The tanks are full to use for evasive actions or secondary targets. Silly goose.
How would a drone do evasive action??

It's just there's no reason to short-load the fuel tank.
One more time, it's a fact that Kiev regime loaded their drones with extra fuel - literally plastic bags with fuel not connected to anything.
The reason is, absolute majority of the drones do no reach their intended targets, Kiev regime launches hundreds and hundreds drones to get half a dozen hits on target.
Mr Bean on Crack read the news about Trump watching US clips hiting Iran and realized that he needed more fire so they did. In reality it's all smoke and no destruction on the ground.
It's all for propaganda.

Flamingo missiles, probably loaded with extra flamingoes hits plant producing artillery systems and components for missile launch systems in Russia's Volgograd region
I agree with you, Russia needs to strike flamingo factories in UK/Germany.
We also need to strike all communication between Ukraine in EU. No more photo-ops for euro-scam in Kiev.
You seem to have forgotten how these things work.

Superpowers do not attack superpowers. Superpowers arm third parties at war with another superpower.

And, historically, the third party drives off the superpower.

You really stepped in it with Ukraine because most of the third parties have not been exactly trustworthy, neither side wanted to give them stuff they might end up facing. Ukraine, however, is a more trustworthy place and the reality is that modern weapons have enough communications and computing that we can be much more confident the weapons won't be turned on us.

Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Afghanistan. Never a direct conflict between the superpowers. Now you on the losing side again and want to break the pattern.
Germany is not a superpower. And yes Russia should use proxies to strike US. Unfortunately we don't have proxies. Maximum we can do is to help countries such as Iran to defend whey US attacks first.

I asked you before how they do that. The tank is a finite space. It can only hold a set amount of fuel. There's no way to add more. And especially enough of more to make the explosion much more dramatic. It's impossible.
Man, you are dense. Extra fuel does not need to be in tanks.
and fuel tanks can be made bigger too if need to. But again, it did not need to be made bigger.

Your argument applies to airplanes. They can trade range for payload.

Cruise missiles can't realistically make such tradeoffs, although you see missiles that have a sprint mode, use an afterburner for the last part of the flight if the fuel supply permits.
Cruise missiles absolutely make such trade-off. Depending on the required range they can and do have different explosive payload. This is done on the factory of course. But in case of ukro-terrorist drones these are home made planes, where you can load anything and anyhow you want with ease.

From reporting Russia is in bad shape.

If the reported deaths and and casualties are anywhere near correct Russia is in trouble. It is running out of males. Russia going into poor rural areas looking for recruits.

This is on top of the existing problem with a declining population.

Ukrainian attacks on oil infrastructure is causing fuel shortages.

This jives with reporting I listened to.

AI Overview
Russian forces have suffered approximately 1.4 million military casualties, including roughly 450,000 deaths, since the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, according to a July 2026 study by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). This reflects a wartime fatality rate four times higher than all U.S. combat losses since World War I

AI Overview
The ratio of Russian to Ukrainian military casualties has risen to nearly 8:1. For much of the war, the rate sat between 2:1 and 3:1, but Moscow's recent losses have surged due to Ukraine’s expanded use of AI-enabled drones and defense-in-depth strategies.\

I hear that the fuel shortages have led to the Russian government providing emergency fuel supplies to farmers, so they can bring in the harvest.

The same shortage means that the farmers can make more money selling the fuel on the black market than they would get for their crops if they used it to harvest them.

So the grain rots in the fields, the black marketeers get rich, and the diesel shortage continues.

It's going to be a cold and hungry winter for Russia.

Yeah, this is the kind of shit which made me lose any remnants of trust in western media.

Meanwhile, western media doing their worst trying not to talk about the loss of Konstantinovka.
NATO summit in Turkey is gonna be sad show if they admit that. They need to manufacture ukro-success somehow. Mr. Bean on Crack refused to take bodies of the soldiers killed defending Konstantinovka.

They are not correct. And people reporting them know that.

Then why is Putin usng North Korean mercenaries?

AI Overview
Russia primarily recruits foreign nationals from economically disadvantaged regions across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Tens of thousands have been enlisted since 2022. Many are lured by intermediaries with false promises of lucrative construction jobs or visas, but are instead forced into the front lines as "cannon fodder" with very little training.

Russia's use of recruits from Africa and Latin America has been widely covered. Also covered is how they are bning treated in Russia, nor well.

Russia controls media, there is no free press. Same in China.

When I hear the same sporting from media in different countries with a free press I tend to give it credence.

AI Overview
The Russia-Ukraine conflict has been ongoing for over 12 years. It began in February 2014 when Russian forces annexed Crimea and instigated fighting in the eastern Donbas region. The war escalated into a full-scale, major conflict on February 24, 2022, when Russia launched a widespread invasion of the country.

The war has been gong on for years and Putin keeps sacrfiocng young men with no end in sight.

Hey Vladimir, are we having fun yet? Must be a real bummer when drones hit Moscow.

Meanwhile disaster at "Arlington" cemetery under Kiev.
It was built in a ...... swamp, in spite of all the warning of all the local hydrologists.
So, after recent string of rains it became...... "uninhabitable"

Then why is Putin usng North Korean mercenaries?
They are not mercenaries and the better question is why is Kim doing that and the answer is "Because NK now have Article 5 with Russia as a result"
Anyway, I don't think north koreans are in Ukraine. They were in Kursk region of Russia repelling nazis inside Russia, remember Article 5.
Having said that, Kiev regime do use a lot of Colombians .

Hey Vladimir, are we having fun yet? Must be a real bummer when drones hit Moscow.
The thing is, Kiev Regime has no natural or artificial defences beyond last standing Slavyansk/Krmatorks.
So the fun begins after these two towns are liberated.

Ok I am mistaken.

The war is going great for Russia, and Russia is a wonderful place to be especially Moscow.

AI Overview
No, air raid sirens generally do not go off in Moscow during drone and missile attacks.Russian authorities made a deliberate political decision to keep public warning systems silent during actual aerial threats. The Kremlin avoids activating street alarms or sending mass emergency text alerts to prevent panic and hide the true scale of the war from the general public. Instead of alarms, local residents often only realize an attack is happening when they see smoke, hear explosions, or experience flight suspensions at major airports like Vnukovo and Domodedovo.5 sitesUkrainian drones profane Moscow's defensive sanctuary | NewsMay 26, 2026 — Updated 05/26/2026 - 10:43 ET.
