Idiot dragged out of bar by her hair for not wearing mask

Are you saying that the wife beater says that the wife had it coming? Or do you mean that the abuser had it coming after the wife finally kills him after being abused?

Someone is always able to come up with an excuse. This thread is full of such excuses.

and some excuses are more reasonable and valid than others even if the act itself was wrong. that's why victims who attack their abusers normally get less of a sentence than if it was the other way around.

I used to know several people that would constantly talk shit and run their mouths but didn't really deserve to be beat down for it. However, when they finally did push someone too far and get knocked out the reaction was always "yeah they had it coming". It was wrong but understandable.

Yeah, you here that a lot. Sometimes applied to the victims of wife beaters.

Yeah, I love that "talk shit and run their mouths" bullshit. Classic rhetoric used by people who love to resort to violence. My brother, a ham fisted alpha who resorts to his big fat hairy hands when he can't win an argument, loves that expression, "run your mouth, run your mouth, talk shit, talk shit..." constantly.

You don't like when I talk shit and run my mouth? Tough darts, asshat. I will talk shit and run my mouth as I damn well please. And there ain't jack diddly shit you can do about it, unless you want to get arrested for assault and battery, asshat.

Not to cycomiko, just to knuckle dragging brutes in general, who cannot tolerate someone using speech as a means of communication AND self defense.

At the end of the day, you are making excuses for a woman to be dragged across the floor, kicked and punched because it's a white Karen type.

While I agree with the sentiment, I also find the threat of possible violence useful in keeping sound pollution low. If it weren't for the possibility that someone would go off on yo ass there would be way more people legally yelling their feelings at any given moment about any given thing all the time everywhere since it would become normal practice. It's through that violence we get from those close to us (friends and family) as youth were we establish the unspoken wisdom we executed towards the general public daily. Say too much and people might loose it. Don't abuse people with words even when you're right.

Yeah, that may not make sense (or be well written) and also sound like I'm advocating for violence. But I'm not.

True. And, as I said, excuses will be made for anything. People are getting wound up to the point where excessive use of violence is not only tolerated, but applauded. Soon it will be encouraged. Similar things happened in Russia about a century ago. A wound up far left can be, can potentially be, as dangerous as a wound up far right. It has happened already.

We could be looking at an actual bloodbath, an armed conflict between the far left and the far right, here in Rome...er...I mean America. Nutballs on both sides, armed to the teeth and angry.

Now is the time for rational people to start running their mouths.

I'm pointing out that sometimes violently belligerent drunks are also white female "Karens".

To me violence or the threat of it is what keeps people from crossing over certain lines: we use reasoned discussion rather than fighting because fighting sucks for almost everyone.

The issue comes when someone abandons the forms of discourse which are to be accepted by someone who rejects belief and authority, when someone relies on rhetoric, confusion, ignorance, and other things that are not reasoned or reasonable. I will happily point to violence existing on the far side of that boundary because there is nothing useful on it other than to use the ignorant or the ill-equipped in the short term as batteries and capacitors of violence got their short term gain and long term loss in pure and externally detrimental service of self and using people is fucking awful.

Tom, I have been impressed by your posts.

Would you, you personally, drag a woman across the floor by her hair, for any reason? I would not.

Now, let's say this woman was so out of hand, so belligerent, so violent, that physical force became necessary to hold and contain her. I would imagine that there were enough men in this place to muster sufficient force to restrain this woman until police arrived.

In other words, as I have said, and which is true: there could not have been any justification for dragging her out by her hair.

Any attempt to justify it is a rationalization. There is NO justification for such brutality. None. None at all.

The bouncer was also a woman, I think. Maybe that's something she's experienced and figured it works, regardless of the ethics. As noted above, bouncers aren't exactly known for their kind disposition and sense of humor. Doesn't really excuse it, but I don't have a lot of sympathy for the trouble maker either.

I, personally, wouldn't drag anyone by the hair, but I have 30+ years of martial arts experience, including a lot of subdual techniques.

And comparing this to police killing unarmed people who ARE complying is really dumbass whataboutism.

First, I don't care that the bouncer was a woman. She should be fired.

Now, who has compared this incident to police killings of innocent people? Please reply and answer the question.

I have to go to work in fifteen minutes. Will return to the discussion later...

I wouldn't. Most bouncers that I have known in my life would and they would enjoy it immensely. Somebody named "Bliss" that frequents bars like this would be aware that many bouncers enjoy roughing people up.

Hilarious. If this had been a white cop treating a black junkie like this, oh my how different the narrative would be. Instead of excusing the the cop, cities would burn.

It is a bar hag getting bounced from a bar. This is quite different from a public servant shooting a guy in Walmart because he is holding a BB gun while talking on the phone.

A “bar hag” indeed ? Well she deserved everything she got and more I suppose ?

Hilarious.
I didn't say if she deserved anything or not. I don't go to bars like that for a reason. Shit happens and those people are probably accustomed to it.

What is so obvious is the dehumanizing of this woman. "bar hag", her name "Bliss" gets ridiculed, she seems the type and will be accustomed, "plague rat" etc. Any excuse.

That's whataboutism. I agree. That doesn't mean the white lady shouldn't have been thrown out for refusing to wear a mask. Black people should also be thrown out for not wearing a mask in a bar .

LOL, it's not about the mask fella but you already know this.

It's hilarious to see so many on here be all pleased (I would say some are actually aroused) about a woman getting the shit beat out of her because they thinks it's a white Karen or Trump supporter. And some think the security guard didn't go far enough.
Oh, but it is about the mask. That is the only reason you care. You view her as your ally against the government even though it was a private establishment that was asking her to vacate. You are in the thread telling people to stay home if they don't want to be around maskless people. It is definitely about the mask. I just happen to not care that there was violence at a bar. Probably a place for me to elect to avoid for that reason. A good establishment would handle the situation like many retail locations have done, retrain her and wait for the cops. But hey, this is a bar and her name was Bliss.

Cry me some more crocodile tears. Then try to figure out why some people are throwing loaded language at you. Fact is, the bouncer is going to get charged unless it comes out that Bliss took a swing or otherwise presented a heck of a thread. My bouncer friend from my gym days ended up in jail for putting someone in the hospital. But that is not the discussion that people are having with you.

Oh, but it is about the mask.

Nope, the mask is a red herring. It's all about you lot cheering on the beat down of a white Karen type (or Trump supporter or plague rat or whatever) because that's the way you roll. It wouldn't matter if the woman had been beat down for not flushing the toilet or what ever perverse justification you can come up with. Just own it ffs.
