I thought the creator of this meme was implying that we were all descended from three men. Banging their mom makes it funnier for sure.

Only problem is the Genesis myth goes on to say that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters (Gen 5:4), so whoever authored this might have been well served to take a bit more time and read the rest of the story.

Having said that, it was still pretty funny. Even if it wasn't an accurate portrayal of the myth.

Well you guys keep bringing out the old preacher in me. Cain did not go off to get a wife from another tribe. He was cursed to be a fugitive and vagabond and went out from the "presence of the Lord" to dwell in the land of Nod, which is east of Eden. Being a fugitive and a vagabond he filled that role by building a city and naming it after his firstborn son , "Enoch." Cain's wife just suddenly appears like magic with no explanation. Like many women of the old testament she is just a plot device, a veritable Star Trek Red Shirt.

I think that this stuff is the over reaction to millennia of intense and irrational hatred of gays and people who for whatever reason feel more comfortable in the role of the other gender. So, we all should cut them some slack if this overcorrection is a bit cringey. Still, I wish that this was done much better, I agree with 80% of what they are saying but the last 20% is based on how teens act on Tumblr and want this nebulous stuff to be firm science. Don't want to give old school Moral Majority assholes any opportunity because that stuff is pushed.

May Fred Phelps be getting all the gay sex he wanted in heaven/hell or whatever.
