hehe :D

That reminds me of how I so often not only mishear stuff but I misspeak in weird ways. One time I was thinking "cupid statue" but what came out was "stupid cashew."

I also once said "wheelbarrow" when I meant "umbrella." No clue what my brain was doing on that one.

We can still beat this, if we act quickly: Tell everyone that Atheists have been genetically-engineering cats to have pretty stripes, so they'll adopt cats and get Toxoplasma gondii.

The conspiracy is safe. Do your part, comrades!

Damn. I was hoping no one would notice striped cats.

If I remember correctly cats weren't viewed very highly during the middle ages.

Yeah, they stole the breath from babies and they were thought to carry contagion around during the black plague so some of the only things keeping the rat (and rate fleas) population down were slaughtered...

Must have really pissed them off after their treatment in Egypt.

That's why they ushered in the Enlightenment. They knew we wouldn't ever view them as gods again, but figured crazy cat ladies were preferable to being treated as pariahs.

I'm pretty sure they're still pissed.
