Doesn't that apply to all political parties and their sheeple of followers? How could say a, Bernie Sanders [ and an AOC for that matter] and their fruit loop socialist ideas be good for the American or a free enterprise Western system of government?

Yes, he would have... because he has principles, and always has. He has consistently voted on those principles his entire political career, even when it meant pissing Important People™ off.

Personally I was against leaving the TPP. Global trade is toothpaste out of the tube.

And of course, Trump wanted to leave TPP because it was a 'wonderful rallying cry for MAGA', but ultimately because Russia likes the idea of the US having a smaller influence in the Pacific Theater. Sanders wanted out of the TPP because it could harm American workers (that ship sailed a couple decades ago). Clinton wanted "out" of the TPP because it was in her favor electorally to say so. They'd have changed the font on one section, Clinton would declare it a victory for the US and sign onto it because it was in America's best interest to remain involved in Pacific trade, and not let China write all of the rules regarding Pacific trade.

Ultimately I would have supported a TPP that didn't take an eternal shit on the public re: IP and corporate power.
