These people have no shame.

FoxNews has become a disgusting parody of its former filthy self.

But don't forget: FoxNews is now the network too moderate for the Trumpist mainstream. They've switched from the "fair and balanced" network to watch NewsMax and OAN.

These people have no shame.

If it was a white cop she wouldn't be doing it.

She knows who butters her bread and pays her bills.

Her fellow hate-filled bullshit-spewer, Fucker Carlson, similarly deprecated Michael Fanone, a white cop who suffered a heart attack. (See #1957.)

I didn't know it was possible, but I have much less respect for FoxNews and its band of traitors now than even I had before.

Laura Angryham did the same schtict with Fanone too.

McCarthy mocks Cheney and Kinzinger as 'Pelosi Republicans' | TheHill
"Who is that? Adam and Liz? Aren’t they kind of like Pelosi Republicans?" McCarthy said prior to an event to mark the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Speaking to another group of reporters, McCarthy again referred to the two as "Pelosi Republicans." He declined to say if he planned to somehow punish them for agreeing to take part in the investigation.

"I think that’s pretty childish," Cheney said at the Capitol when asked about McCarthy's comments.

Kinzinger also described McCarthy's remark as "childish."

"We’re doing big things right now. We’re getting to the answers of the worst attack on the Capitol since the War of 1812. He can call me any names he wants, Kinzinger said. "I’m a Republican. Kevin McCarthy is technically my Republican leader. And to call, you know, members of Congress by childish names like Donald Trump used to do, I guess it’s just kind of par [for the course].”

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), meanwhile, called McCarthy's comments "absurd."
‘Childish’: Kinzinger, Cheney Fire Back at McCarthy Calling Them ‘Pelosi Republicans’
“We’ve got very serious business here,” Cheney told reporters. “We have important work to do.”

Kinzinger told reporters that McCarthy “can call me whatever names he wants,” adding that “I’m a Republican.”

When asked if Kinzinger and Cheney will be stripped of their other committee assignments, McCarthy said, “We’ll see.”

Dinesh D'Souza was getting jealous that other conservatives were being arrogant and ignorant assholes, and felt left out. So he joined in.

Obviously the officers were fake-crying during their testimony, because the only time a person can cry about a traumatic event in their life is at the very moment it is happening and not afterwards. Right? PTSD is fake, apparently.

Trump gave them license to do this by imitating Christine Blasey Ford back during the Kavanaugh confirmation. Imagine, a President of this country mocking a woman's distress to get his audience to guffaw. These folks have no threshold of shame.
Joseph Welch, redux: Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?
Trump Republicans: Fuck you!

Disgusting. Here is one of the officers brilliant retort

Seriously, where has she and fucker Carlson been while he was fighting in Iraq! They’ve never served their country a day.

The insanity of Trumpism will be talked about like the insanity of McCarthyism one day.

Trump has shown them the way.

Just lie and never admit it is a lie.

It is the way of the fascist.

I hope that you're right. I'm not seeing it though. The same 20 people that I know who believed the Great Lie still believe it, all these months later.

I'm talking about when there is no money in spreading the lies anymore and Trump is dead.

Right now there is nothing to stop Trump from running again.

Oh, very much agree. And I think that Trump is the odds on favorite to win the republican party nomination. And since the republicans do not need a majority to win an election, I think that odds are slightly better than 50-50 that Trump will win reelection in 2024. A quote that I read the other day: "A coup attempt that goes unpunished “becomes a training exercise.”

Trump definitely tried to get the DoJ to officially get involved in the Coup push.
article said:
The latest bombshell came Wednesday with the revelation that Jeffrey Clark, a top official at the Justice Department, composed a draft letter -- which he urged acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and acting deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue to sign onto -- that said the DOJ had "significant concerns that may have impacted of the outcome of the election in multiple States, including the State of Georgia."

"I think we should get it out as soon as possible," Clark urged, adding: "I see no valid downsides to sending out the letter."
It didn't get released... too much "deep state" in the way of the Coup.

Top URL seems busted. Don't know why. But here is a similar one. https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/05/politics/what-matters-trump-doj-coup/index.html

This Clark guy should be prosecuted (and of course disbarred).

Just finished "I alone can fix it".

Very good for a really dry read. Authors go out of their way to stay in the zone of "just the facts. ma'am". Descriptive prose is minimal, and most of what there is of it came from interviewees.

For me, the best part is imagining all the Republican coup participant politicians and operatives reading that book and freaking out - "I can't believe he told that guy what I said about this!" The layers of skulduggery and backstabbing were, unsurprisingly, many and convoluted.
What really stands out is that General Milley was probably the only thing that stood between what we have now and the dystopian nightmare the trumpsuckers were - and still are - determined to visit upon this Country.
