Because his capital is tied up in illegal engagements that will vaporize.
Because one thing any business needs to succeed are customers... and fear of entanglement with a business that is failing to endure literally thousands of lawsuits a day is enough for anyone to find any other partner.
Because he doesn't really have that much wealth in the first place... only a (formerly) valuable brand name that is merely licensed out... which itself is entirely reliant on reputation.
Because anyone presently taking profit from dealings with Trump (is that even possible?) is more of a corporate pariah now than ever... and, reputationally, no company wants to be associated with criminal organizations.

I think it may be easier yet than that... Trump did not expect to win the election. obviously, no one did. He expected to be on the sidelines where he could hurl unsubstantiated claims as a private citizen and claim its all rigged against him... bla bla bla...

He needs an out. He wants an out so he can get back to playing golf and laundering money through his real estate dealings, like he had been doing in NY for decades with the Russians. His out will be threats of legal action against Jr. He will be able to resign under the guise of the system being rigged against him like he originally planned, and that he is 'reluctantly' stepping down to protect his children from the evil dark state, or whatever.

It will be interesting if the chips fall that way, and Cheato goes on to incite violence among his former acolytes. I don't think he could resist the urge to do that, and might find himself incarcerated because of it.

Brittan lawmakers now call for Trump to be arrested if he steps foot on their soil... for inciting violence by retweeting anti-muslim videos.... he basically violated their hate speech laws.

To be fair... Trump is right, the UK has a Muslim problem, not the US. The US has seen far less violence from Muslims since he become President.

Maybe PM May should forwarded video of the two recent massacres in the US and Tweet, 'We don't have a gun problem here'.

To be fair... Trump is right, the UK has a Muslim problem, not the US. The US has seen far less violence from Muslims since he become President.

The "deaths from muslims" is not "down" because of Trump... because we had the audacity to elect a BLACK president, terrorist deaths are ultimately UP... from White Supremacists.

The biggest terrorist threat to the United States is armed white people, evidenced by the vast majority of shootings we have been seeing.

I still have the feeling that we are going to see Sessions either fired or moved to another cabinet post. An AG who isn't officially "recused" could then fire both Rosenstein and Mueller and replace them with other reality show contestants. Hillary Clinton was wrong to suggest that Trump's business skills, which were honed on Celebrity Apprentice, would not carry over into the White House. He seems to fire a new panelist every week. Will Pompeo replace Tillerson at State? Or will Trump pull a switcheroo by shifting Sessions to State and Pompeo to Justice? Tune in next week...

Not how it works. The Attorney General would be replaced by the Deputy Attorney General, I don't think Trump can just name an interim AG. Trump has to have Rosenstein resign, the next guy resign, so his newly appointed fourth in charge (Bork II) can fire Mueller.

It's in Mueller's interest to charge as little as possible unless the statute of limitations is running out. The thing is, anything he charges can be pardoned by His Flatulence. Things which he doesn't charge and which are crimes by state law could still be charged by the state in which they happened and His Flatulence can't pardon about those. Thus Mueller won't use all his weapons if less will do the job.
