Mueller investigation

I don't think it is Trump. The President's schedule is a matter of public record and whether or not he would be subpoenaed and/or testify would likewise be a matter of public record. Going to these extremes would more likely mean it's someone whose life may be in danger for testifying, like a family member or someone who is or was so high up the food chain as to signify something Mueller does not want signified (i.e., whatever the person is supposed to be testifying to could only be known to them and Trump, and therefore if the name got out, Trump would immediately know what the topic was, or the like).

Something along those lines. Maybe Bannon? Or Pence. Maybe that's it? A prominent Senator or the like.

It was reported later that it was a witness that didn't want to testify against Trump and may end up in jail for contempt. It didn't say who it was, though.

Bannon, then. Or maybe Stone. Stone could warrant that kind of extraordinary activity.

The "dragged into court" phrase makes me think of Roger Stone, but the closing down the whole floor makes me think it would be someone else. I don't have an answer.

The only reason I can think of to close an entire floor if it weren't Pence (i.e., if the status of the office involved isn't the reason), is a heightened threat of violence to the individual brought in (meaning legitimate; meaning there was a known/expected threat and not merely taking precautions).

Could be a Russian KGB agent or the like. Iow, the fear might not be some beta cuck deplorable whack-job, but Russian assassins either out to kill their own or out to kill Stone or whoever it may be if not a Russian turncoat. We'll find out soon enough, I'm sure.

Agreed, Kislyak would warrant something like that. Or Putin. That'd be funny.

Neither of them would warrant that level of protection unless threat to life was there. I can't imagine Putin giving a fuck about any American because he is getting what he wants with the disillusionment of American Democracy. Unless it is Donald Trump Jr (his ex?) or Jared Kuschner.

It does make more sense that it would be a Russian KGB agent or the like, as that would imply professional assassins are out to get whoever it is and thus a reason to take such extraordinary measures. I doubt there are any beta-cuck deplorables intelligent enough and crazy enough and connected enough to be able to find out who is being deposed and when, as Russian spies would, but then that assumes the WH doesn't know and didn't tip some such "fixers" off.

Trump thinks exactly like a mob boss, let's not forget. But that would in turn mean that such a conspiracy was discovered and averted.

So, probably a Russian witness being protected against Russian agents. That would be my for $500 Alex.

Ooh, BANNON! Yeah, that makes sense.
The first time I read it, I thought you said Barron... Thought maybe he was cutting a deal to protect Melania.

I'd be against any deal that lets Barron off the hook. That guy deserves everything that's coming to him and I am sick and tired of all the partisan excuses like "He's an autistic child who wasn't involved in any of this" to try and deflect the blame away from him.

The judge in the Flynn case just heard Flynn state that he understood it was a crime to lie to the FBI, and that he was not "tricked", and that he still wants to plead guilty. The judge was expected to exclude jail time, as recommended by prosecutors.

Whoops! The judge proceeded to eviscerate Flynn, tell him he "sold his country out", and ask the prosecutors if a charge of treason might result from Flynn's activities. He also told Flynn that if sentencing occurred today, it would most likely include jail time. He was apparently extremely pissed off about Flynn's lawyers' claim that Flynn was set up by the FBI, i.e. an attempt to hedge his guilty plea.

This judge is my hero. He's delaying sentencing for 90 days, and urged Flynn to continue to help Mueller's team in any way possible.

This is all the fault of that commie bitch Reagan for appointing pinkos like this as judges.

Wasn't Flynn the guy who began repeating the "lock her up" chant against Hillary?

How's that working out?

He's not being locked up. Fucking Mueller!!! You had one job! I will never forgive him for taking this from me.

But he probably gave some real good shit on the Trump crime syndicate. :slowclap:

Flipping should be illegal!

Actually, it's not settled whether he will be locked up. This judge doesn't like traitors nor stupid, weaselly defense lawyering.

So, trying to have it both ways. Admit crime to the FBI for lesser sentence, maintain basic innocence in the media. Judge seems to think if you got caught and admit to error, you should bloody well act like it.

Raw Story is now saying that it is a subpoena against a company and that the company claims it is owned by another government and that answering the subpoena would violate that companies laws. They give a link to a decision that Raw Story claims says Mueller won, which I haven't had time to read. Disclaimer: I don't accept anything that Raw Story says without checking the original source.

Curiouser and curiouser.
