Oh, Matty. Have you been a naughty boy?

Watch this Rachel Maddow excerpt. It's mainly about Joel Greenberg, the criminal Tax Callector of Seminole County, whose bizarre criminal misdeeds seem like a caricature even by GOP standards. The last minute or two connect to Gaetz, a good friend of Greenberg who has also been charged with underage sex trafficking, one of many crimes Greenberg is charged with.

And Trump has had dirt on both of them this whole time.

Gaetzgate makes me so happy. :) (*Except for the part where he ***aLLegEdLy*** took advantage of an underage girl.)

This could turn out to be way better than the dick stomping I've been wishing for for him. The story only broke yesterday and Gaetz has already gone full Giuliani. That is one desperate man.

Seriously, though, the title of this thread should be Gaetzgate.

I'm a fan of #PizzaGaetz

The entire Q conspiracy is based on the idea that Democrats are part of a secret cabal of sex traffickers, but it turns out to be just a little bit of projection.

Brilliant! Stealing.

Projection is the Republican party's middle name.

#JailGaetz?

Could start a new porn video line called Barely Illegal. Tucker Carlson raves, “I have no idea what you are talking about.”

I've said it before. I'll say it again. Never trust a guy who uses too much hair product.

I have to admit, everything about Gaetz screams conman/crook to me.

In my neighborhood, Matt Gaetz would be what is known as an insufferable prick. He is Fitzgerald rich, which is to say,
...they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.”

Gaetz has lived a life where he could always get out of whatever trouble he caused, or was in, after making glib explanations. This left him believing it was his quick wit that did the trick, when all along it was just the money. A lot of politicians, if not most, become rich in office. It's always amusing to watch a wealthy person enter politics. The fortunate ones never get elected. Those who do enter office quickly discover they are in a very different world. They go from an environment where everything is tailored to their needs and desires, to a place filled with people who do not have any great inclination to cooperate.

This was Donald Trump's greatest shock. He had never been forced to deal with people who didn't want to do it his way. No matter how wealthy a person maybe, their world is rather small. The number of people they must see everyday is a fairly small group, and they get to choose who gets in the group. They go from ruler of their universe to a guy with a credit score or 400, sitting across the desk from a car dealer's finance manager, in the blink of an eye. Nothing has prepared them for an work space where money no longer has the power it once wielded.

As I said, the fortunate ones never get elected.

Insufferable prick - exactly.
I got in exactly ONE fight in HS, and it could have been his clone. I was caught violating the "Senior Lawn" - a sacrosanct area set aside for seniors. I was a sophomore. About eight of them restrained me and I started screaming that they were cowards and I'd take on ONE of them. They all laughed and told me to pick one. I picked Matt Gaetz' doppleganger. "What rules?" (they were starting to collectively fear repercussions). "Boxing!" I said.
So they formed a ring and said go. It didn't last long - I wasn't as big as he was but I was much more coordinated and twice as fast, and within a minute or so I landed a fist on his nose. He started crying at the sight of his own blood, which frankly scared me too. I made some noise about not wanting to hurt anyone, promised to stay off the senior lawn and they let me go. For the rest of the year, that insufferable prick plotted against me in all matters large and small. I left the school at the end of that year.
Watching blustering Matt Gaetz lead a gang of Republitard Congresscritters down the halls of the Capitol to break into a closed hearing brought back that memory in vivid color. I'd dearly love to punch him in the nose, despite detesting violence.

I wonder if Tucker Carlson will now have to be interviewed by the FBI since Gaetz through him under the bus.

Does he get his fashion advice from Herb Tarlek?

Of all the things that Gaetz does that are reprehensible, the ONE and ONLY thing I like about the man is his celebration of fashion. I will not put him down for dressing in a festive, life-affirming way.

Matt Gaetz showed nude pics of women he said he slept with to GOP members of Congress: report

On Thursday, CNN reported new salacious details about the behavior of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who is separately under a Department of Justice sex trafficking investigation.

"Sources say Gaetz gained a reputation in Congress over his relationships with women, and even showed fellow lawmakers some nude photos of women he said he slept with," said anchor Wolf Blitzer. "Lauren Fox is on this part of the story. What are you learning about these photos?"

"We should be very clear from the top, this is a separate issue than the DOJ investigation that is ongoing right now," said Fox. "When Matt Gaetz was a new member of Congress, he earned a reputation quickly of being a close ally of former President Trump's. He liked to be in the limelight of the media. He also, according to multiple sources CNN spoke with, behind the scenes likes to show his colleagues photos and brag about sexual exploits he had with women."

Yup, definitely a trumper.

Beards, beards, and more beards? Is it against US law to transport a young beard across state lines?

Calm down. Trippin all up in here like something good going to come out of this. Yawl remember Trump right? All the accusations and evidence, remember all that? Did anything happen? Acting as if we can just handcuff a congressman and toss him in jail to await tried. This is a republican we're talking about. Even with evidence, nothing is going to happen.

If there is something to this, yes, something will definitely happen, and that is because Gaetz has almost zero support from Republicans, he doesn't have the wide base of voters that Trump has, and doesn't likely have the connections to organized criminals like Trump. There are people around the world willing to send money to support Trump. Nobody gives a flying shit about Gaetz. He's toast.

I hope you're right, for the sake of the 17-year-old girl (if this is all true), I hope you're right.
