Maybe I'm missing something, but the pro-life position (generally a position of the Right) is choosing the health (or more accurately, the life) of the unborn child over the rights of the mother to do with her body what she wants. Or is this picture about something else?

This is about mask mandates.
The sign isn't about parents' rights being more important than children's lives, it's about "parents'-rights-(to-decide)-their-child's-health-care".
It's saying parents have the supreme authority concerning their child's health.

They probably consider themselves pro-life, but right here, they're pro-choice.

1) He's not a Marshal, he's a General (and if you want to court someone, you really should get basics like their name and preferred form of address right)
