Apparently they don't have to keep their money in Russia, either. Unless they've been part of the Pootler kleptocracy. Technicians, scientists, and people with a conscience are probably not the targets of sanctions.

Brain drain is not new problem. I was talking about mega-rich russians who have no use in Russia.

But on the other hand, spreading false information about pending mobilization on Victory Day could also be a psy-ops to make Russian IT guys leave the country sooner rather than later. So who knows.

IT people work remotely, a lot of them left but still work the same job.
And a lot are simply freelancers, they really don't care about place they live that much. A lot of them left for Georgia.

And so what if they captured a NATO general, I think we are well past being shocked by that.

This post is very much a testament on why you believe the bullshit you believe. Canadian NATO generals aren't so common that no one would report on it. Some guy I know told me your assertions are complete bullshit, by the way.

What part of "rumors are circulating about canadian general being captured" don't you understand?
I can give you a link to a russian news site, what good will it do for you? According to you it is all russian disinformation campaign.

In other news, Crimean local government is thinking about establishing summer "reeducation" camps for ....... "ukrainain" (they are russian now) school teachers :)

You keep painting a picture that Putin is just lone autocrat and the rest are just his sub-servants. Putin's immediate circle and foreign policy advisers more less agree on everything.
Some dissent is among economics people.

I think what I am getting here is that you are trying to say that NATO general capture would be a huge deal. OK, good to know. lets leave it at that.

In my book, unbelievable bullshit is BBC chemical attack video, or taking evidence of war crimes perpetrated by Ukrainian forces and attributing them to Russians.
 
May 9th is basically Altertag. He will announce full Russian mobilization. He will demand that Ukraine surrender or he will threaten nuclear war. He cannot afford to lose. He cannot afford to allow this war to drag on. Who knows what he will do. But it will be done on May 9th. It will be very bad.

The question is whether there’s a Russian Tresckow, Gersdorff, or Stauffenberg to stop him.
