Tests of Astrology

Just curious, but since the moon affects tides could the moon theoretically affect the fluids in our bodies to some degree that may be detrimental or even help us in a slight way?
The tidal force is a differential force. Over the scale of a human body the tidal force is essentially zero. And other forces around you would dominate over it.

Good deal . Thanks for replying

Force = ass * Acceleration but gravity acts equally on all mass.

So I assume it affects all mass in he body equally at the same time. Not just fluids.

There is a small tensile force stretching the body.

When the Moon is overhead local g changes. It should be measurable.

Tides have nothing to do with fluids, other than that their effect on fluids in great bulk (such as oceans) is more noticable than their effects on solids.

Tides are just gravity. Specifically, the way that the gravitational field of an object falls away with distance leads to a 'stretching' force on any other object in that gravitational field.

The tides of the Moon, the Sun, and any other massive objects have less effect on people than they have on the ocean simply because people are smaller than oceans[Citation Needed].

I thought this thread was titled “Teats of Astrology.” Guess I need glasses.

While gravitation varies inversely with distance-squared, the effect of tides is a differential and (similarly to the effect of magnets) varies with distance-CUBED. One way to confirm this without even using the back of an envelope is to note that the Sun's gravitation has a HUGELY bigger influence on Earth than the Moon's, while their tidal influences are in the same ballpark.

Does your insurrection cover vision and glasses?

Astrology pop quiz This will be 5% of your astrology 101 grade.

Competency Exam. Those seeking to be a CAP (Certified Astrological Professional) must demonstrate competence in astrology by passing a rigorous exam. It is an open-book test and you can use whatever texts or materials you think you will need, but it is timed.

When you register for courses individually, you’ll see the option for “audit” or “with feedback”. The “with feedback” option is the diploma track option. If you register on a bundle package, you are automatically registered for the diploma track option (with feedback).

We created the diploma track – and the four-year program in general – to give astrology students a structured course of study, with materials chosen specifically to help them feel confident reading a chart by the end of the four-year program.

Certification

A diploma is granted upon successful completion of all 36 courses in our Diploma Program.

In addition, students who complete the requirements for our diploma are eligible to become certified by passing our certification exam.

After completion of the diploma, students can optionally take the certification exam. Currently the exam consists of submitting one complete natal consultation and one timing consultation.

The Astrology University certification is a mark of excellence in astrological practice within the community.

Ethics in Astrology

As an astrologer, how do you know whether your actions are genuinely beneficial?

A system of ethical principles will help you answer that question and guide you when complex considerations arise. Whether you are a counseling astrologer, a researcher, a content producer, or an enthusiast, understanding ethics enables you to practice astrology responsibly.
The Ethics Awareness program is the cornerstone of CAPISAR’s certification program. Based on ISAR's Ethical Standards and Guidelines, it prepares you to practice astrology with a solid understanding of your ethical obligations and aligns our field’s standards with those of other professions.

I am sure it has been s done in some fashion.

1. Randomly select a group of astrologers and a group of participants.
2. Randomly match parchments with astrologers.
3. Develop set of predictions d to be made.
4. Check results.
5, Check for statistical correlation better than random chance.

The participants could not be told their predictions, otherwise they might make make it self fulfilling. Without even realizing it.

Tide goes at the inverse cube of distance. The tide from the doctor is bigger than the tide from anything other than Sun/Earth/Moon. Do fat obstetricians influence babies?

Yup, and it's because tide is the change in gravity rather than gravity itself.
