Man, you must have shitty news media in Australia to think this is a tough decision. We've got Trump, a manchild who clearly should have run in the first place and when he was fired, got a lot of supporters to break into the US Capitol bldg to try to keep his job. Against a prosecutor, Attorney General, US Senator, who can go a whole paragraph without abusing hyperbole.

Gee, I wonder.
It may not be a tough decision but unexpected or undesired things sometimes happen.
Correct, not a tough decision. Not remotely a tough decision. Politician or dude that violated his oath of office by getting a mob to riot in DC, chanting for the death of Trump's VP.

As I've been noting, calling a winner this time around seems dubious. And most of the major election prognosticates must read my posts. :D

4 of the 7 can't predict a winner. Red tide, blue wave, mixed result? The people that get paid to do this for a living can't tell. That gives me the Dewey feeling. Also a plunging sense of dread as well.

Somebody sabotaged our ballot box.
Two voters ahead of me. They folded their ballot. It jammed the machine, and they were out the door before anyone realized it was jammed.

Background:
We use two machines.
We 'mark' our ballots on a touch screen. Witch then prints out a receipt looking* ballot, which we can check.
Then we feed it into the ballot box. Which reads, tallys, and stores the ballot.
The 'box' looks like a paper shredder atop a rolling garbage can. (yes I joke about it with the poll watchers)
This is what jammed. Took 15 minutes to find the jam.

…and just like that, Trump won the election.

I'd report it to the ACLU. Just give them the facts (including poll location, time, what you know to be a fact not suppose), provide no conclusions. It could have been someone being incompetent or nefarious. No, the ACLU won't Law & Order it and get a conviction, but give them the breadcrumb, which is hopefully either based on incompetence or if it was nefarious, just one idiot.

Seems Joe Rogan has come out and endorsed Trump. That is very telling.
Huh? I thought he was a born and bred Trumpsucker. Is anyone surprised? Why?
Despite his reputation as a "right winger", Joe Rogan is not a rabid partisan. He's not that easy to pin down, but he comes across as more of an independent. He endored Bernie Sanders for the 2020 election, who is about as left as Kamala Harris:

Kackling Kamala is incapable of answering a question;
Yeah Rump, who can't answer any serious question, is much better. /s

Find the typo.
I don't see it. Pointing out typing errors is just petty. Control+v is the windows paste function.
If your finger misses the control key it types v.

Only you respect Rogan.

just one idiot.
Any other election I'd ignore it. All the 'election fraud' bullshit this year, got to me too.

Low IQ Independent maybe.

And oddly didn't support her. He has endorsed Sanders, supported RFK Jr in early 2024, said he supported the Libertarian Party in 2016.

Joe Rogan found a nice niche... the meteorology of journalism.

No it isn't. Everyone already knew the guy was in the tank for Trump, and that he was doing a shit job of trying to hide it.

I always thought Rogan was more of a libertarian. He was pretty keen on Sanders at one time. I have never listened to his podcast but he was a frequent guest on the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ in Los Angeles. He was a bit wacky what with his doomsday prepping and what not.

It's a shame. He was good standup comedian. Now though, he can fuck off to Retardville.

I don't care for his stand up.

He's not under any obligation to support KH just because he once supported BS. Bernie has a lot more experience in government and is more forthcoming and consistent with his positions. Kamala is lagging largely because people don't know who she is and what she stands for. JR invited her to his podcast, but she declined. Perhaps if she took the time to meet with him for a basic interview like Trump did, and answer questions he would have endorsed her the way he did with Bernie (who, BTW, appeared on his podcast).

Good grief :rolleyesa:;

It was talk show great Oprah Winfrey who gave the most dire warning about former President Donald Trump winning Tuesday's election at a star-studded rally in support of Vice President Kamala Harris late Monday night in Philadelphia. 'If we don't show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again,'

Daily Mail

I guess this is what happens when cackling Kamala offers nothing.

Kamala is lagging largely because people don't know who she is and what she stands for.
Harris also has a subtle problem with messaging. She is still the VP of a technically incumbent president.
That he stepped down from the campaign for this election doesn't change the fact that she remains his vice president. She cannot argue as directly for change because it's change from her "bosses" policies.
Normally someone running against an incumbent can be more critical. In this bizarre situation, there are two incumbents and then Harris.

I think that she's negotiated that minefield extremely well.

Yes, but she has said (repeatedly), "I'm not Joe Biden" which is intended to say, "I have my own ideas and policy positions". OK, fine. Let's hear some details about how things will be different. People would have more respect for her if she was forthcoming, even if they don't share her PoV. Instead, there's a lot of evasiveness, non-answers and talking in circles. People think she just doesn't know what she stands for herself, or is hiding something or maybe she's not very well informed and educated on the issues so is reluctant to risk putting her foot in her mouth.

You did say "who is about as left as Kamala Harris"... in which I quoted in my response. I assumed you meant Rogan was as left as Harris, but you might have meant Sanders was as left as Harris. Which would be silly.
Bernie has a lot more experience in government and is more forthcoming and consistent with his positions.
Sanders has done fuck-all in Congress. I voted for him in the primary in '16 as a leftish nudge to the presumed candidate Clinton, but Sanders is all talk, no solutions. He has done miraculously well in selling a more left vision for the party... in the waning years in Congress, but overall, he hasn't done anything. Your 'support' for him is laughable.

Kamala isn't lagging. 30% of the country is convinced it is currently the Great Depression and she is struggling to convince them otherwise.

Also, Rogan declined to meet the VP for a podcast elsewhere. Forgetting that she is still the elected Vice President.
Perhaps if she took the time to meet with him for a basic interview like Trump did, and answer questions he would have endorsed her the way he did with Bernie (who, BTW, appeared on his podcast).
Yes, because Rogan has shown a great interest in learning from his guests. He is Terri Gross's superior.

I think Trump supporters couldn't have said it better "Hang Mike Pence". TSwizzle is apparently for hanging Mike Pence.

No one is surprised when an "independent Libertarian" endorses Trump, those are his people. Anti-establishment, functionally illiterate, flag-waving conspiracy theorists love the guy. It's traditional, trust-the-process Bush Sr type conservatives who are a harder sell.
